Wow ! Time flies. I remember watching these dudes and their energetic style of play, back in the early 2000's. They were slightly older than me cause I was a junior in HS at the time. I really thought D-Miles was gonna be the next KG. He used to run like a gazelle and block shots and took defense seriously. Maggette looked like a football player on the court but wasn't really a fan of his. Q-Rich could get hot with them trey balls and light you up. They also has Keyon Dooling, Elton Brand, Keith Closs long-afro-head-ass at 7'3", Mike Olowokandi (super bust), Lamar Odom with the crazy handles for a 6'10" guy, and Jeff Mcginnis. I used to like using this team as a sleeper when busting ass on 2k for Dreamcast. Even though they didn't win a lot of games in real life, their youth and athleticism was easy to play with on the video game. Wished they could've kept this team together a little longer.

That's about it.Why anyone would anyone say they were gonna be anything special . They were exactly what you saw. Talanted athlete's who could of been great if they worked on their craft. M.Jordan is right these young players come in rich and it runs them. They get the $ based on potential. They dont have to work for it ! Especially Darius Miles holy shit what a waste of talent. He could of been at the least the best defender in the league . I bigger Stacey Augman and more versatile because of his size. Instead he was a borderline bust !!

Hands down one of my favorite all-time teams to watch while I was growing up back in those days. It's like they said, that Clippers squad just made basketball fun, and were just relatable to how a lot of us were coming up playing the game at that time. I used to mimic that headband double tap when I played with my people back in those early 2000's; headband included, LOL! I hated seeing those guys depart in the way they did, though. They had every ounce of potential and chemistry to become truly great together. The Clippers organization should've held on a bit longer to all of that young talent. Respect, though. Those Clippers of Maggette, Q-Rich, D-Miles, L-Odom, and Brand were my dudes.

You were one of the best in-team team. Same like next gen bad boys from Pistons 2003-2005. Awesome trio, Odom, the 4th. Cool!

Met DM at the mall in Fairview Heights, IL when I was in 8th grade (his rookie year). He was my #2 favorite player behind Garnett. The energy that Clippers team had was so much fun. Even though it was a short time, it was a dream come true when he joined the Celtics along with Garnett. Glad to see he's on the mend and working things out.

The Clippers were dumb to break them up. All they needed was patience. They would've be great for years to come

Seems like when they broke that team up they all lost something i HONESTLY dint think none of them reached the full potential in the league because of that, cats had love for one another which is rare to see....

When I first got out the air force in 2000, i got directv. There was a free preview of the nba package and i seen them dudes play and been a clipper fan ever since. Im from cleveland so i was happy when we got D Miles the season before Lebron. I was at the game where the clippers played cleveland and i had great seats. the row behind the floor seats. The cavs won, but both teams battled.
