I love that a beautiful arrangement can be made with so few flowers. I have asparagus fern growing as a houseplant, but it never occurred to me to use it in an arrangement. You are an excellent teacher! I’ve learned so much from your videos. Thank you!
I think many people have foliage that would be ideal to use in arranging but because its in a plant form they don't always think its suitable. I think its a great way of collecting different types of foliage too, as the supermarkets, DIY stores often have lots of bargains in the plant section.
Any type of branch would work well, or phormium leaves, bullrushes. If you can manage to find some twisted willow or hazel then it last forever and you can just reuse it time and time again.
Thanks Marlene, the book isn't ready yet but I will promote it when its ready. Its discusses the Elements and Principles of Design but needs proofreading before its ready to be released. There are digital downloads available to purchase on Etsy that can be used as resources to help you understand the Elements and Principles of Design www.etsy.com/uk/SharonDowerFlower/listing/1447305838/advanced-elements-and-principles-of?Copy&ListingManager&Share&.lmsm&share_time=1681550710365

Another fabulous arrangement. I will have a go although I do not have any distorted hazel. 😢
