Jon you should honestly make a roadside fishing spot compendium, just a road map of all the roadside places you have been like a tourists guide to road side creeks

Florida so awesome for fishing, unfortunately as a native, it is becoming too crowded, and less places to fish by bank…great episode of fishing

    Get the hat on.
Finally got out to fish. Wasn't bad for an old man. Caught a green sunfish at swallowed, an entire 4-in bubble gum swirl. Only caught five fish but it was fun.

My first bass of the year I caught on a 1/64 Oz crappie jig using a 7ft crappie max rod and an Abu Garcia Max STX 10 reel. 6lb Berkley X5 braid with a 6lb Berkley Trilene Sensation leader. The bass was 3lb 19in long.

True fisherman, you get excited regardless of size or type, fun to watch. Just moved to Tennessee, looking for good spots to fish, saw someone else comment that you should document your favorite spots. Id buy it for sure. Best of luck, i enjoy the vids.

Hey John, great video. 44:54 my friend calls that yankee tackle. big stout wire hooks 50 lb braid is good there for fresh water, in salt water use 150lb test, or 0.80 diameter weed eater line. 15 inch long rubber worms on thru the weeds EXPLOSIVE bites. good days

OK you convinced me into making an everglades trip. I am in Pensacola so it should only take me a few days to get there and I can fish some spots on the way.
I believe the mystery fish that looked like bluegills were fliers.

Such a great video my friend and I’m glad you had a successful and safe Trip to Florida. I think Florida has the most diverse species of Fish anywhere in the United States and it crazy you can just stop on the side of the Road and so cool. I was waiting for the Topwater Frog to come out lol I see a lot of videos on Guys in Florida slinging that Frog and just having a great time. I was in Pensacola for a short time and know exactly the Mosquito Melee you have to encounter lol they are brutal. Stay safe my Friend Semper Fidelis
