If you have the extra cash the Peak Design one is lighter and smaller but this will get the job done at the fraction of the price!

You seem to have the camera and lens pointing to the side. Other videos show it with the lens pointing down. I've tried it and the latter feels more balanced and secure pointing down and works with longer lenses/hoods. Chest strap a good idea.
Also works better with the smaller Sony mirrorless bodies without grip. Canon and Nikon often have much bigger bulkier bodies.

Very old vid, but for those coming here by chance, the main reason why it wobbles, is his a rucksack doers not have a chest strap. Having a chest strap clipped in 90% of the wobble will disappear 😊

Appreciate your excellent review. It certainly covered the essentials including just the "getting use to" aspects. Now that it has been awhile, have you had any issues with it coming loose like so many have said about the PD version?

I think a backpack with a chest strap would make it more stable and less wobbly.

Does the cheaper clip work with the peak design plate? I would like to pair it with a genuine peak design lens holder and I wonder if I can save some money on the clip itself

Does the cheap version accept the Peak Design square plate? Can I get this clip as a spare? I have 2 x Peak Designs and want a cheap spare clip that will still accept the PD mount plate
