@@Coc-tamil480 what's there to leak in this? Hierarchical structure of the Indian army is not a secret to anyone. The problem these days is anybody who has access to phones and internet uploads videos with zero research resulting in zero quality. Nobody's asking the author to leak the brigade formations and their postings. People just want to know how the army is structured.
Brigade is a tactical formation meant to carry out specific task(s) and can consist of soldiers (and companies) from different regiments. It's headed by a Brigadier. They are usually temporary but there are some permanent Brigades too.
Corps are high up in the permanent structure of the Indian Army right below the Commands (eg. III Corps under the Eastern Command)

Battalion: The basic unit in the Indian Army, consisting of 600 to 1,000 soldiers.
Company: A company typically comprises 80 to 120 soldiers and is part of a battalion 5.
Platoon: A platoon consists of a few dozen soldiers and is part of a company 5
Brigade: A brigade usually comprises 3 to 4 infantry battalions, along with support arms and services.
Division: A division typically has around 10,000 to 15,000 soldiers or combat troops, consisting of 3 to 4 brigades, and is commanded by a General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the rank of Major General.
Corps: A corps is a field formation responsible for a specific zone within a command theater and usually comprises 2 to 5 divisions

if you were a BA LLB grad. you would still have the chance JAG entry, now you can only join territorial army

i think you have some misinformation about the size of Indian Army . It is 2nd Largest army in the world it has 14 lakh active soldiers and 21 lakh reserve personnel which totals to 35 lakhs . apart from china we have not focused on quantity of army but rather than on the quality and we showed it too on the Galwan Valley Incident We have now 140 crores of population but we still we have 35 lakhs soldiers which we have the best of the best people . No, Captain and Lieutenant ranks are probationary ranks and are under guidance of Major and above rank officers. They may be on paper leading a platoon but in action they will observing and learning from senior and experienced JCOs in how to lead and make decisions.

@@nabyendu16 Not just JCOs but ORs too. The problem with our army is that it still follows the British system where some officers consider non-gazetted personnels like ORs as inferiors and this hurts me alot. I don't want to compare but US army doesn't have such discrimination in them.
No doubt most officers are very kind and respect everyone in the army but due to the long running rituals there is a solid line between officers and soldiers.
