Diego joins the Peace Corps to win back his ex-girlfriend. He imagines exotic locales, instead he finds himself "Lost in Moldova". The story is loosely based on the experience of former Peace Corps volunteer - John E. Lewis.
First episode: Arriving at his site at a small village in Moldova, Diego runs into a few hiccups in his settling in process.

@Dragon Of The West The eastern half of Moldova is a country and the western half is a region in Romania. But, moldovians are romanians. The eastern part of Moldova was occupied by the russian empire in 1812. Between ww1 and ww2, it was reunited with Romania and we lived in the same country. Unfortunately, after ww2, Soviet union occupied it again and we remained separated after the collapse of Soviet Union... but, hopefully, in the future we will be one nation again.

That was so funny! I laughed a lot. I am an American who moved to Moldova three years ago. My wife and I live in a village home where we grow our own crops, raise our own chickens, pick our own fruit, gather our own nuts and berries, and make our own wine. It's a simple life filled with simple pleasures. I love it.

I was born in Moldova 18 years ago!!! Moved to US in 2008 to be exact in Seattle Washington I’ve never visited Moldova or my home town (Stefan-Voda) since I moved here and it’s so good to see someone make a Moldavian- English series good job bro I’ve watched these episodes like 20 times of not more and I’m still dying of laughter keep up the good work!!!!
I was born in Moldova and left when I was 6 yrs old to Canada. Haven’t been back since and I’m almost 40 yrs old.
I recommend you save up money and buy a property there, an apartment or house. It’s not expensive and you can go there on vacations.

Pourquoi tu vis en Espagne ? Moi je suis roumaine mariée à un français et j’habite en France ... Et en Roumanie on est un peu plus avancés qu’on Moldavie ( les pauvres ; n’ont pas été gâtés avec la domination russe pendent des dizaines d’années)!!! Mais il y a des meilleurs endroits à voir que celles présentes dans ce film ; ils doivent montrer aussi leurs merveilleux paysages dans des autres films . Salutations à ta petite moldave!

Есть некоторые несоответствия (таких "бобиков" давно не видел - в основном между селами курсируют маршрутки; "жигуль" учителя - тоже уже довольно большая редкость; дом - изнутри вроде своего рода евроремонт, а снаружи - старый сельский; жена учителя одета, скажем так, не соответственно мужу, да и будучи женой преподавателя английского, несколько слов могла бы знать), но это все мелочи, для дополнительного колорита. Так что, жду продолжения!
