  • It's time for another biking adventure! Today we are in Yame, Fukuoka, a quite city that is most famous for it's sprawling tea fields and high quality gyokuro green tea. While it's easy to hop in a car to drive to the Yame Central Tea Plantation, biking is another great way to enjoy this beautiful space. While I don't recommend riding here on a heavy cruiser bike, it's definitely possible!

Thank you for a great video. What a hill?! If you ever make it out to Arita, check out Sueyama Shinto Shrine(陶山神社) and a must-try is Godofu by this sweet little old lady on Hei-1525, Honmachi, Arita-cho, Nishimatsuura-gun, Saga. とうふのたかはし Tofu no Takahashi. It's a quick five-minute walk from Arita station. I had two before getting back on the train. She was so kind to offer me the 2nd one for free because she saw how happy I was to eat it. It tastes like something between tofu and mochi with delicious sesame/shoyu sauce. Renting a bike in Arita is a must. Taxi rides are expensive. Oishi-katta!!! Excited to watch your next adventure. Aloha.

Greatest part of biking uphill is the ride down😮. I enjoy your videos and you are the lucky one to be in such a beautiful place. 11:16

I'm in Japan for three months and I'm planning to come back one day to cycle across the country on my own. Any thoughts? 😅
