A free Christmas light activity that is very popular is in Rancho Cucamonga where you can drive (or on specific days walk) through the Thoroughbred Neighborhoods for very elaborate Christmas Displays. Lots and lots of houses decorated to the max!
Yep, from personal experience, the L.A. Zoo, Disney, Universal and Knotts are really nice places to visit during Christmastime. Specially for your kid(s).
The Queen Mary Christmas is awesome! The Polar Express train ride in Perris is just like the movie. The giant pine and cedar Christmas trees in Idyllwild are spectacular! Riley's Farm in Oak Glen has an amazing light display in all their apple trees along with an unforgetable version of A Christmas Carol. Inland Dance Theatre puts on an amazing version of the Nutcracker. The Christmas tree lighting ceremony at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga is the best. The one in Fashion Island in Newport is decent too and has a GIANT tree. And then there's Santa's Village in Sky Forest near Lake Arrowhead. I have many many more. A lot are on my RUclips page as well. I heard Big Bear and Temecula have nice Christmas events too.
Great list Josh! Here are a few places I hope we see on next year's list: Skypark at Santa's Village in Skyforest Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Magic Mountain Thoroughbred Christmas Lights in Rancho Cucamonga Griswold's Christmas House Display in La Mirada
I found your channel I don't know how and I've been watching your video many of them today because I love travel around. Since Pandemic we stuck in New York. I will travel to California someday and visit where you recommended. Thank you! A lot of help for all travelers. Also your voice is so calm and nice.😄
Ya, hi there! Thoroughbred Christmas Lights in Alta Loma, California. They do an amazing job every year. It's been going on for over 30 years now so far. Every house in this neighborhood decorates to the extreme. It's a couple blocks long & you can drive through it &/or walk through it. It's really a beautiful place to see. Some of the houses also sell hot chocolate & popcorn. It's kid & dog friendly, but PLEASE pick up after yourselves so we can continue this tradition.
Really great, excellent colorful lighting decorations, wonderful views thanks for sharing beautiful video and useful detailed information congratulations 🙏
Love the list, so many good choices I wish I could do it all. I recommend next time you check out the Mission Inn, checking out Christmas on Chapman Place street in Riverside . It's a small street where all the homes are decorated, to story book themes.
What a well rounded compilation! We'll be posting on Logan's this week. Love that place. So cool that you were able to get back there for those shots! We'll be sure to check out a couple of the others on your list next Christmas. It's kinda crazy how fast this month has been flying.
If I remember correctly, Christmas Tree Lane is more than just lights on the trees. There is one long lane where the entire street had very very impressive Christmas displays, neighbors handing out hot chocolate for passerbys. It is worth to explore the neighborhood on foot.
@@anavidtraveler7010 I'm actually referring to the lighting displays, which are getting smaller and less interesting every year, it doesn't justify the crazy traffic. Go to El Segundo or Long Beach Naples instead.
the boats decorations and lights reflect on the water too it makes it so much more magical in person!

Long Beach Naples Island
you should check out sleepy hollow Christmas lights in Torrance California!
Sleep Hollow lights in Torrance gets worse every year.
El Segundo Candy Cane Lane is better.
@@papagen00 I agree as to the traffic. surprised that no one knows about the back way to sleepy hollow. instead of taking PCH, take Calle mayor road.
