I even read an article in some journal where an manipuri author was expressing his concern abt the first ever elected non- indeginious person in Manipuri Assembly. He said it's a way to takeover their land by non locals. I don't know much, plz educated us, as u seems to be very knowledgeable abt Manipur.
@@ks12253 first ever non indegenous does not mean that they are illegal. The could have just migrated from other parts of India, just like Manipuris migrate to other parts of India. .

You have sacrificed your whole life for the people and the sad part is them failing to appreciate your sacrifice. It saddens to see your past and m just sad for Manipur for having lost a godly soul. Our leaders we can't blame Govt of India infact a manipuri is ruling Manipur & ASSAMESE is ruling Assam , so why state is not prospering . Guys for this deep sense of past world history require . Is our intention is separate country or development by being under shelter of India . Guys Truth is bitter Our people are leading us to fight for cause which will not impact our life . Our demand is Job , Better life and if a deep desire is there Govt of India is always ready to support us in any way . Able leadership is not there so North East is ruined & corruption and terrorism is finding it's place in North East . We can't become America or Canada by being away from India . On similar lines, Many sadhus give up thier lives while being on hunger strike for clean Ganga Maa. People fail most of the times, but it indeed teaches people something, something very sublimal but ethical.

Indian government should understand the agitation of this brave lady and people of Manipur. Leaving Assam and Tripura, Manipur is the only state in Northeast whose culture is not very different from Indian culture. They wear dhotis and Saris as their traditional dress. I am Arunachalee n I understand if we get trolled for looking like Chinese but spare Manipur from this harshness. 🙏
