I want to give you a suggestion.I feel you have to modify the name of the channel.By looking at the name of the channel,engineers are less prone to watch your videos still they are helpful for engineers as well.Its just my opinion..I really thanks a lot for the videos.They are really helpful
honestly, I'm so glad you put up this video..didi! except for my acads and some certifications, I feel like I don't have much to offer, but your advice really opened my eyes, I took some time and pondered upon this issue, and came up with some ideas, of course, there's always some resistance like.."you're not good enough", or "that's so obvious", or "its too late", but I insist on pursuing some of these ideas and hopefully it is all worth it in the end.

Didi my senior got 99.8% in CAT. And he said that dont go for CAT . Go for coding and get job in btech . Because even with 99.8% it is quite risky that he will not get call from any top 10 mba college.he said work ex matters alot. And yes he was correct there is only 30% weightage of CAT. I am in 3rd year. I can only choose one coding and CAT . He said that select one and then give ur 100% but he was giving more priority to coding as our college is good .
This video made me realised what I am doing wrong with me. Whenever I read anything in book, in newspaper, in blog, I strive to write at my level of understanding and make it demystified for me. But I never thought to use it as my core skill. I didn't have confidence to give CAT 2021. So, I didn't fill CAT form too. I found myself wrong. Your this video really opened my eyes. Really now, I could introspect what can help me to make it to top B-School. Thank You Very Much.

How many in your batch were with 5 years of workex, what areas they were from and how different were the placements for them as compared to the below 2 years work ex guys?

Hey, Shweta am currently a final year IIT Bombay student seems like it has been a bit of a roller coaster journey for me as I am gonna complete my 4-year course in my 6th year which is this year by may ...well to summarize I had left my college in my 3rd year .. traveled a bit around India for a year and a half (dunno y I did that still!) then launched a startup ...floated through it a bit ....then finally took some courage ..joined IITB back again after all this (though the startup is still in progress side by side ) ..and now here I am ...well due to all these events my cpi is not gonna turn out good in the end ..m sorta sure on that (guess its gonna be around 6 when I graduate ).....and now I really wanna get into the top B -school (my heart says that to me )..and m gonna give cat this November. I know I can work damn hard for it ..but my profile really haunts me at times ...so well here I am today asking you the same question... like how much should I really be worried about it (my 2 drop years in my college ).. and how will it affect me during the selection procedure and if there is anything that I can do apart from aiming for a high percentile (something that can compensate stuff a bit )....I would really be waiting for your reply and also if you know anyone (in your contacts ) who can answer this q well enough ...i would be more than happy to refer to him or her! ....Thanks a lot !! (also to add up:: your videos are super awesome btw.... I love listening to it , really like the way you organize and manage stuff ...just keep it up :)) )

A Good score in CAT can get you into IIM. Work experience, good profile, achievements don't really matter over there. If you have a good profile, with All the things mentioned above. Applying to ISB, would be a better option. Or you can go for good international B-Schools with better ROI
I really appreciate a lot the way you explain everything it feels someone who really cares about us like a guardian.. You introduce us with the difficulties we'll gona face during our mba journey.. Technically, you can't appear for the exam unless you're in the third year, but if you just want to take it for experience under false records, then you may but I'm not sure how much it would help because proctored mocks do the same thing anyway.

Just curious why will anyone "quit" a high-paying job or career which they have earned through their hardwork, intellect & significant expenditure in the form of IIM education.

Really helpful video di 💙 The following would be a fair priority according to me- 1. Tips for Freshers- because these people will be the most nervous of the lot. I think they need guidance more than anyone else. 2. GD Tips- not all colleges conduct GDs, but people who have this in the admission process require some time to master it (and maybe some practice too). Also, it will be good to end it at the start, so that interview and WAT can be focused on, without much disturbance. 3. Question Types- to have an overview of what all people need to prepare. 4. Introducing Yourself- first question in the interview, and the most hyped one. Clarity on this would give people a good start. 5. GK Preparation- because i feel that this area takes more time to prepare than others, so it would be sensible to give people the right strategies for this before talking about other areas. 6. WAT Tips- because certainly, there will be many people who haven't written something in the past few months. They might be detached from writing. And placing this right after GK prep would be good, because some WAT topics require good GK. So it will be easy to connect these two and prepare from the WAT point of view also, while preparing GK. 7. Acads based questions 8. HR questions 9. Body Language 10. Dress Code (Basically you can shuffle these as per your choice, I'd suggest this order so that types of questions get completed first) 11. Stress Interviews- (no reason hehe) 12. Interview Mistakes- now that we're done with all aspects of an interview, people will easily relate to the things you'll explain in this video. 13. My Interview Experiences- to sum it all up on a good note :)

Your content is really helpful. Can you throw some light on how easy or difficult is it for a person with 5 years of work ex to get in the IIM A? How many in your batch were with 5 years of workex, what areas they were from and how different were the placements for them as compared to the below 2 years work ex guys?

Hey, Shweta am currently a final year IIT Bombay student seems like it has been a bit of a roller coaster journey for me as I am gonna complete my 4-year course in my 6th year which is this year by may ...well to summarize I had left my college in my 3rd year .. traveled a bit around India for a year and a half (dunno y I did that still!) then launched a startup ...floated through it a bit ....then finally took some courage ..joined IITB back again after all this (though the startup is still in progress side by side ) ..and now here I am ...well due to all these events my cpi is not gonna turn out good in the end ..m sorta sure on that (guess its gonna be around 6 when I graduate ).....and now I really wanna get into the top B -school (my heart says that to me )..and m gonna give cat this November. I know I can work damn hard for it ..but my profile really haunts me at times ...so well here I am today asking you the same question... like how much should I really be worried about it (my 2 drop years in my college ).. and how will it affect me during the selection procedure and if there is anything that I can do apart from aiming for a high percentile (something that can compensate stuff a bit )....I would really be waiting for your reply and also if you know anyone (in your contacts ) who can answer this q well enough ...i would be more than happy to refer to him or her! ....Thanks a lot !! (also to add up:: your videos are super awesome btw.... I love listening to it , really like the way you organize and manage stuff ...just keep it up :)) )

A Good score in CAT can get you into IIM. Work experience, good profile, achievements don't really matter over there.
If you have a good profile, with All the things mentioned above. Applying to ISB, would be a better option. Or you can go for good international B-Schools with better ROI
I really appreciate a lot the way you explain everything it feels someone who really cares about us like a guardian.. You introduce us with the difficulties we'll gona face during our mba journey.. But at the same time you motivate also, thanku so much for that. Within 2 or 3 days i saw many of your videos and i became a fan 💙💙
Didi iam in first year ...and I want to appear for cat during my 2nd year only , just to make my preparation more focused right from the beginning..so would it be a right step or wrong!!!
Technically, you can't appear for the exam unless you're in the third year, but if you just want to take it for experience under false records, then you may but I'm not sure how much it would help because proctored mocks do the same thing anyway.

Read your bio. You say you "quit" your job. Also, have come across many IIM passouts who "quit" their jobs to pursue something else. Just curious why will anyone "quit" a high-paying job or career which they have earned through their hardwork, intellect & significant expenditure in the form of IIM education.

The following would be a fair priority according to me-
1. Tips for Freshers- because these people will be the most nervous of the lot. I think they need guidance more than anyone else.
2. GD Tips- not all colleges conduct GDs, but people who have this in the admission process require some time to master it (and maybe some practice too). Also, it will be good to end it at the start, so that interview and WAT can be focused on, without much disturbance.
3. Question Types- to have an overview of what all people need to prepare.
4. Introducing Yourself- first question in the interview, and the most hyped one. Clarity on this would give people a good start.
5. GK Preparation- because i feel that this area takes more time to prepare than others, so it would be sensible to give people the right strategies for this before talking about other areas.
6. WAT Tips- because certainly, there will be many people who haven't written something in the past few months. They might be detached from writing. And placing this right after GK prep would be good, because some WAT topics require good GK. So it will be easy to connect these two and prepare from the WAT point of view also, while preparing GK.
7. Acads based questions
8. HR questions
9. Body Language
10. Dress Code
(Basically you can shuffle these as per your choice, I'd suggest this order so that types of questions get completed first)
11. Stress Interviews- (no reason hehe)
12. Interview Mistakes- now that we're done with all aspects of an interview, people will easily relate to the things you'll explain in this video.
13. My Interview Experiences- to sum it all up on a good note :)
