    The music at the beginning is strangely fitting.

    So southeastern will be operating 377s and 375s? they are virtually identical.

    • @davida.678
      @davida.678 7 лет назад +1

      Class 465 Yes they are virtually the same but different in there own way the 375 can have 3 coaches the 377 has not the 375 has different headlight clusters and not all the 375 have pantographs

      First deliveries to Southern were as 375 but they changed to Dellner coupler and were reclassified as 377. Subsequent new build for Southern were 377 from the start. Southeastern then changed all their 375 to Dellner couplings but the units were not reclassified.

      Main difference these days is that Southern units have DOO cameras fitted to the units whereas Southeastern use platform mounted cameras and mirrors.
      As regards pantographs, both classes have some units fitted and some not. Similarly number of carriages can be 3, 4 or 5 for 377 but 375 only come in 3 and 4. Windows of later 377s have different glazing method.
      Main difference between 377 and 387 is top speed. 387 have different gearing to allow higher top speed. Class 379 on Stansted Express and West Anglia services are very similar.

      They might still swap them around over the coming months. There's still a few plans to be finalised.

    wonder how many people will notice that they are slightly purple rather than dark blue. They will still be maintained at Selhurst

      Also noticed all the Thameslink logos have been scrubbed from the 319's, any idea why?

    • @thetravelbubble6154

      Sound Without Genre 319's are in the process of being cascaded to other companies.

    • @thetravelbubble6154
      @thetravelbubble6154 7 лет назад

      Sound Without Genre this is especially as the class 700's are now replacing them.

    I'm guessing once all the class 700's arrive will it mean that the 377's are to be cascaded onto other companies?

    • @DimitriB757

      OMSILondonLad yes, I’m pretty sure that southeastern will get all of the 377’s though. But I’m not completely sure wether it is true...
