Due to his fierce rivalry with Hamilton, the British media, particularly, have said a lot against him. It's just how it goes; you can't be good at what you do without attracting a bit of negativity. But what do F1 bosses think about this?

Max won the race , he didn't make the rules.
I’m an LH44 but, I’ve to say, Max deserved the title, alone those maneuvers passing Lewis from the outside was gutsy A.F.! It reminds me on the Senna/Prost days! Max is the future and he’s the pivot point! But I like how the young guns fighting fair and with regard! Lando, Charles, Checko, and Carlos are it for the future!

Have to give you respect for that comment. Your the first Lewis fan I've heard make a comment about max that is way overdue. I get last year ended in a bit of a sour note for Lewis fans and I didn't want max to win it like that but I do agree over the year he deserved it. The racing gods had there own agenda for 2021.
That being said I think 2021 done him wonders as we are seeing a more measured side to him in 2022 and I don't think that would be possible without having Lewis there. Lewis still has some left to give that's for sure but I'm not so sure he will have a car for another World championship over the next 2 years at least. Nice to see him back challenging again but just doesn't have the pace of Charles and max unfortunately but if he did what a treat we would get with those 3.

max is a really great driver, leclerc has less F1 experience and is almost at his level, what spoiled leclerc was strategist Inaki rueda and Ferrari didn't take the bottoming out of the drop in performance in races, that's why they are quick with qualifications. If you are a fan of ruthlessness that's your problem. I actually remember Senna and I was never a fan and a lot of people weren't. He's become a mythological figure driven by hype. Prost had class and fineness , things that are apparently lost on Max fans

Max is the combination of three world champions in a single package, Prost regularity, Senna agressivity, Schumacher ruthlessness. He s a terrifying driver to compete against.

Verstappen was not lucky to change to soft. That was the essential tactical step, and wasn’t coincidence.

Great video 🇪🇬🤘🇪🇬 I was a jos fanatic in the 90s and being able to watch max just gives me intense pleasure. If they want to run him down be my guest cuz we all know that he is the best 😁💙😁
He's started young, being matured in the right time and now he proved that in the last 2 seasons. His technique is one off a kind, comparable to senna with his dancing move in the rain in the past.
If anything Brasil in the wet showed how exceptional and out of the box MV really is.
Anyone doubting that should see that race again.

No, he won't just be freed after x race or suddenly, it'll be planned from long ago and teams can prepare.
Mercedes had a chance, but they could not give him a F1 seat and timeline to join the team and a seat in affinated team (williams, etc). So Red Bull came and gave him a Torro Rosso seat and so it happened.

Lewis and Max are greatest drivers I’ve seen. Schumacher had a very good Ferrari. It’s a shame Senna never got the opportunity to win more. However I think we’re witnessing the two best drivers of all time driving at the same time. You can’t split them, the world championship should have been shared. Max was outstanding all season and Lewis went to another level at the back end of the year - shame it had to end the way it did.
He was lucky for sure that last race. Buy he was the better driver all season and Hamilton never got a real punishment. So what if he got lucky at the end. It's sport. Shit happens.

It was Lewis'team who did NOT come in for changing his tyres at the VSC (he had a pitwindow even at the round after Max has pitted under VSC). Could be a game changer...20 laps younger tyres...in that last final lap.
It was also Lewis'team who got the next chance to change tyres under SC...going to red (as Max did).
He stayed out , even knowing that everyone had agreed NOT to finish under SC.
If Lewis had gone to red we would have 2 possibilities. Max doing opposit and starting in the lead that last lap. And Lewis would pass Max easily.
OR also Max would go for red knowing he would be a sitting duck.....trackpositions the same but now a fighting chance for Lewis because Max would only have the slipstream at restart.
Those mistakes were not the benifit from Max, but the errors from Mercedes....we can call it Luck when the opponent makes mistakes....but using those mistakes is another chapter. Max'team was excellent in using those mistakes to their advantage.

I think Merc and Red Bull will battle once again soon. Either in 2023 or 2024. This time George will be involved as well. With Ferrari there as well. Could be similar to how Red Bull did it in the early 2010s. With close matchups.

As long as Helmut Marko is alive, Max will never leave Red Bull. He knows Marko made it all possible by recognizing his talent in a verry early stage, bringing him into F1, promoting him from Torro Rosso to Red Bull, and more important, is like a second father to him. Aside from all that, the whole atmosphere in that team fits Max like a glove. And it is a Verstappen trade to be straight and loyal if you treat them right. So no, Max will never go to Mercedes or Ferrari, as long as Red Bull gives him a car that is able to compete with his main rivals. Red Bull is not a team like Mercedes or Ferrari, it is a family, and that is exactly why I believe that Perez will be replaced at a certain point. Not because Max considers him to be a threat, but simply because he can become a disruptive factor in that family. There is another bad boy there that would fit in perfectly in that culture, and that is Alonso.Those two are capable of trying to kill eachother on the track and than have a drink and a laugh afterwards.And I am sure all F1 fans would love to see them as teammates. I know I would.

Why do people talk so much bull_ _ _ _. In 2021, the championship was given to him. He did not earn it fair and square. Then the following year we find out that they went above the cap. One must ask, by Red Bull doing it, how much did it push them forward. In other words they are probably half a year ahead of everyone else. If you notice, Red Bull, at least in qualifying is not 7:53 gaping people as they once did. Although the last race I think he won by 30 seconds. We have to give him that; however as the season progresses, I think others are going to reel him in. We are going to see what happens when they will not have the wind tunnel time next year because of the penalty. He really only has one championship. The 2021 championship was stolen from Lewis Hamilton. Everyone knows it.

I’m a southeast Asian fan of F1 since 1998, I’m 31 years old now, and I disagree completely. He didn’t eclipsed anything off the Great Michael Schumacher. And FIA wasn’t working with MSC. FIA disliked MSC, it was the collaboration of Todt, Brawn, and MSC himself that gave him the titles. Brawn followed everywhere MSC went. When Michael switched from Benetton to Ferrari, Ross Brawn followed him because he was that GREAT. He took a Benetton team and gave it 2 constructor championship titles. You clearly know nothing of this sport other than just being a pansy for “sir” lewis.
Michael could’ve stayed with Benetton and win a 3rd driver and constructor championship for Benetton, but he didn’t because he was devoted to Ferrari.
You’re also forgetting, when MSC “retired” and came back, he joined the Mercedes AMG team, which guess what, brought Ross Brawn into the team; which translate to developing that team to be a dominant force. It was the duo of MSC and Brawn that developed Mercedes AMG into the team today.
When MSC was still racing, Lewis had a hard time trying to pass MSC, who that time was in an “inferior” car than Lewis who was in the McLaren. Shows how lacking you’re of the history of this sport and that if MSC was in his prime today, even Lewis’s prime won’t be able to keep up with his pace.

He won it fair and square on the track. He literally passed Lewis on track to win. If it was a scenario where Max crossed the line second and Lewis crossed it first and then if Max was given the championship, then I'd say it's undeserved. But he won it on merit with a little bit of luck.

The 1st champioship Lewis won was by luck. He finished 3rd and because of penalties of the other drivers, he was rewarded with the title. The 6 he won with Mercedes.... was from FIA scam. DAS, rocket modes, aggresive and dangerous driving that even got Schumacher disqualified, gave your favorite Lulu just a 10 second penalty... So for 2021, the actual points shouldn't even be close... Yet, he beat him on the track, and yet you're still crying!
