I think he’s the best driver I’ve seen in my lifetime. I think perhaps Ken Miles is his closest comparison. There are very talented drivers over the years of course, but Max has not only got the talent, but he also just really loves to drive and compete. So many drivers are just in it for the fame and money and once they get what they want they quit and never drive again, or if they don’t have the best car, they throw a tantrum and take their toys, go home and refuse to play any more. From what I hear, as soon as Max jumps out of the car, he jumps right into the Sim so he can get more. That’s some sick dedication and love and I just hope he doesn’t burn himself out.

In life you get 2 types of cooperation.
      1) Because you are paid to cooperate.
      2) Because you want be involved and want to make it work.
Obviously the second option is Max's approach to F1. Being able to focus solely on the current race gives him an even greater advantage.

Senna used to be my F1 GOAT.
Now Max has taken Senna's incredible ability to another level with ease ........ and then .... added so much more to F1 driving skills.
We think his greatest asset is his ability to remain calm during every race & not let the incredible pressure, that he is under, interfere with the job he has to do....... being only 25, makes this feat even greater.👍👍☺️

Max is a brilliant driver and as he matures he gets better every race. It's clear that Max is 1 of the best, but to say he's the best... maybe but hard to really know. Put people like Max, LeClerc, Norris and Russell in the same car and there might not be much between them.
How good you are in the race is not just the driver, but the whole package.. the car, but also race engineer, tactics etc etc. It is truly a team sport.
Since there is close to no competition so far this season it looks like Max is on top of the world but that's mainly because Newey designed a rocketship on wheels.
Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren missed the mark so it's a matter of time before they can even get close since the Bulls really going to notice their limited windtunnel runs later on in the 2nd half of the season so for now they are pulling in every point they can because it's likely they will have plenty of competition later on this season.
1 thing is for sure, Max will push the car to and beyond the limits to try and secure the championship as soon as possible, Perez is a great 2nd driver but he just misses out on the final few tenths of Max, but I'm glad he's doing better then last season.

Well stated. F1 success is definitely a team effort which makes this form of sport even more interesting.

It’s boring when one person is the best? We had that for a long time with Lewis when there was no budget cap and the differences between teams was way bigger. If you are not only looking at Max then you will see behind Max an awesome battle for 2nd and 3rd is going on. Also the drivers behind Max are really close and there sometimes are nice surprises like Ocon.

When you have the best car, you can win. It is the team that produce a car that win not a driver. Put him in another car, he may never win again. A driver needs the best team with the best car. Drivers are nothing with the cars.
