My dogs like running off and going into town alone, and they make it back home without getting lost or kidnapped. So I’d say they are probably smarter than some 5 year old kid.
I enjoyed this video! But, haha! i have to say their hearts don’t beat 40 times faster but instead 40% faster. 40 times faster would be 4000% faster, I think. 😂
Well my GSD is obviously smart. However! I have a Frenchton that defies all biology and can sniff out a treat faster than her "smart" sister. Go figure! Guess that long snout theory needs some more research...

The smartest dogs I have ever had were a Doberman and a Doxie
