Kellen Moore will add motion to the offense. That will help make the the defenses have to think a little more. Coupled with our talent level, this should be a big time help. It will also help our defense to practice against motion.

The most important point Fangio made: his defensive success is predicated on the players. I dont care if Jim Johnson coached this defense; if you dont have good players it's not gonna matter. Do the Eagles have enough quality on the defensive side of the ball? That remains to be seen.

I think we might see a version of the old 9ers defense with Willis and Bowman. Fangio had that defense rockin. I like how he stressed on versatility and knowing how to handle scheme changes based on the next weeks opponent.
Yes, adaptability is crucial, Nick and that weak staff couldn't or wouldn't adapt, and actually believed they could keep doing the same thing with every opponent. Well they got exposed real fast. Glad we have real experience at the Helm now, with Fangio and Kellen Moore..... Go Birds

I didn't compare anything. You didn't read it correctly is the problem. I said we might see a VERSION of the old 9ers defense. He hinted at some of the scheme types he wanted to use and that's similar to what he ran when he was DC for San Fran. Hence saying we might see a VERSION of that style defense. Don't put words where they weren't said.

Last year we had 2 first time coordinators what a bad idea honestly this year we have 2 proven guys it's going to be better no matter what the team was winning in spite of our coaching until they couldn't anymore and they ended up quitting is was embarrassing..I fully expect to see a well-coached competent team with a chip on there shoulder..Go Birds 🦅🦅🦅

We saw that podcast. We knew it when they hired Chip Kelly. This is why we are saying the same thing about Nick.
I honestly think Kellen Moore will have this offense looking amazing.. I wanna see what Vic will do though & I would like a big leap from Jordan Davis & Jalen Carter. if they can show that they’re elite then this defense will be good
Main thing I took away from what Kellen said was his use of motion in his scheme. We all know how stagnant the offense was last year. Looking forward to see what new wrinkles they add to the offense from that aspect.

It would REALLY suck with all this talent on defense that we have to watch more bend & don;'t break for another year as I am dying AT LEAST for a defense like Schwartz 2017 team let alone a Jim Johnson, Bud Carson or Buddy Ryan defense!!! Conversely, on offense, I have always like Kellen Moore and am extremely confident that the offense will be clicking on all cylinders!!!
Honestly, I don't think our coordinators could be any worse than last season. All we need is momentum... win a few in a row and we will be back in the SB before no time.

I got from Fangio that he is on his farewell tour. He came off like im here cause I started here and I'm home. If I coach for a while great.. if not I'm not worried cause I've been doing it 40yrs. I have more confidence now hearing what the new coordinators said... I love that Fangio's old school and making everyone compete for their spot, the same needs to be done on offense... I'm just worried about Hurts being able to pick up the blitz!!! SMH... After what Kelce said, he'd point out where the blitz would be coming from, in the huddle or on the line not certain, but Hurts still wouldn't pick it up!!! Idk if it's on the QB coach/OC but whoever it is needs to be sure Hurts can read a few blitz's this season, if not we're in trouble.
