    Shay, she with the striking eyes, and the nonchalant pose and style conveys Carnaby Street in the 1960s. You half expect Mick Jagger or Donovan to wander into the frame and say, "Groovy" or "Check out the threads, mate."

    This one video with all the explanations helped me heaps. The thought process, the fighting with the light.

    So great to see you working the lights and see the pictures happening.
    There is a great film about Bailey called "We'll Take Manhattan."
    Have you seen it?
    Exactly what you guys are doing .

    I love the sharp movements she is doing more real than slow movements. Unposing the act of looking like you are in a natural position and not looking like you are doing that position on purpose. Love it Peter you are my inspiration.

    Nicely demonstrates how important it is to get your model to be on the move in front of your camera !

    Many thanks for this new behind the scenes.
    @B: Many thanks for introducing, recording and closing the session. You have set a very high standard, as professional partner.
    @S: Many thanks for posing in this session. I like a lot when Models travel through the time, because photography equipment (technologically) evolves, but does it happen the same with posing, or should we say that it only changes? I always have a lot of fun watching how you pose; it's like attending a play.
    @P: Many thanks for this 60’s flashback. Question: in the past, photographers didn’t have access to the lighting equipment we have today, do you think they would have done better if they had it? I am aware this is not easy to answer. I love it when the spotlights point directly at the Models, I hope it's not a nuisance for them.

    I am wondering - in the full body shot - if you shoot from a lower angle and add some space above Shays`s head, would she still look short?

    Hey Peter, please allow a episode where fans submit images and you critique them?

    • @PeterCoulsonPhotographer
      @PeterCoulsonPhotographer  2 месяца назад +7

      You should be taking photos for yourself not for others and the only person who can take your work issue because you're the only person who knows what you're trying to create. I never critique other photographs or artist work because it's in the eye of the beholder which should be the creator.

    • @trancer03
      @trancer03 2 месяца назад +2

      I agree with Peter. There is way to much critiques going on and people thinking they are doing a good thing making videos about it. You need to develop your own artistic vision. What ever you like. What ever you can imagine. It's your art. If people don't like it bad luck to them.
