Now everyone plays him and he’s honestly worse. They got rid of his range which made him unique and replaced it with what literally every assassin has... buncha lights with some small prompts. Just annoying

@@hussar5695 seriously all his attacks become the same attack now he has no variety i wish they just put in the option too choose which style you want too play with characters.
And it all came at the simple cost of making him a repetitive and annoying character to play against, let alone the fact that shino mains are now the most toxic people out there alongside console orochis.

Idk if you know this, but his actual heavy parry punish is a 29 dmg sickle rain.
There is currently a glitch where you can after a parry, lock out and spin the camera, which makes the parry light riposte whiff and because the opponent is in stun, you get a free side sickle rain.
This is absolutely stupid and needs a quick fix, because its not that hard to do, once you know the inputs.
It’s a glitch that also affects heroes like Gladiator, and should hopefully be patched soon so I didn’t bother covering it to spread awareness and show something that may be removed anyways
I love the t4 healing it's great for both 1v1s and when I'm getting ganked because when I have revenge i can stall longer for my team plus I'm healing for all the damage I'm dealing
I like it and so I use it but to be honest it doesn’t do enough when compared with the stamina. It is helpfull I’ll admit but it only really works effectively when using a zone attack to clear 10+ minions from the minion lane in a single attack.
It's pretty good but I think it's weaker than Tiandi's life leech T3. I often chose to run nail bomb instead
I enjoy the fact it heals from minions as well, so you're actually getting a pseudo-Body Count.
Marcos feat and perk choices are usually not that great so yeah dont listen to it
Also on Shooting Stars, it guarantees a kick whether you dodge it or not. So, it has the potential to deal a maximum of 114 damage and chain pressure, and a minimum of 14 plus chain pressure.
as a shinobi main its fun seeing your opponents health go down by half after just one parry or deflect combo

Shinobi and Orochi are the bane of my existence with their downright excessive ability to avoid any attack and make lightning fast attacks.
Do I think they're overpowered? No.
*I think everyone else needs this level of high capability technical potential.* THEN we have true game balance.

you'll have to read 5 moves into the future to get a heavy, and you need about 10 of these to win. good luck !
You bet your ass! And when you lose you wont feel like you got beaten with a cheap tactic like Shinobi's endless bash spam or Orochis perpetual Dodge attacks, you'll feel like you didn't use every tool you had at your disposal, and you're to blame for your loss.
I would rather everyone have so much they can do so fights feel varied and intuitive but people will say they want this and then we still have warlord
I want Warlord and Conq, and hell even Jorm and Shugo, to have more options.
That's the biggest thing to me, is that it feels like Heavies have so little to work with unless they're Hitokiri, while Assassins get a wealth of reliable instant options to constantly overwhelm them.
Also, Orochi worked better when he was more counter attacker than spammer. Feels like Shinobi and Orochi are too similar in practice and execution, both being super spammy fast attackers with Dodge attacks aplenty, instead of a clear divide. Really, as much as I like For Honor, I think just about everyone could have some improvement in their moves, from buffs and nerfs to new introductions, that would absolutely revamp the core gameplay.
Like beefing Highlander's Defensive Stance with superior block on side dodges, and giving him a bash counter on parry,
Don't worry, as mentioned I'd have some things for everyone, I'm not playing favorites. Lawbringer, for instance, has a way old and ineffective kit that needs some revamping.

Shinobi is really really good for people who like to dodge, move around a lot and like to fiddle or mess with your opponent. BUT the downside with Shinobi is that he/she has low health and low stamina but that balances it with his/her speed and mobility and fast start up attacks, you need to really really cope with Shinobi's dodges cuz that will make it worth your while when playing as him/her.
could just use they instead of him/her as it means the same thing
Fast start attacks? The only fast start attacks Shinobi has that's actually effective is his foward bash
Finally I can’t wait to fight shinobi expecting a duel but getting a one sided ass whopping form a character that has exclusively bashes, guaranteed, unblockable and undogeble attacks

I love how ubi buff their chatacters, being broken and OP, Shibobi heavies does 29 damage, high damage on deflects, infinite combo bashing, and a garanteed heavy from a bash can execute you haha, for everything, infinite stamina + perks and his kit

Honestly I don’t mind the backflip after a bash because it is very punishable when you know what you’re doing. But I find it harder to pull off with heroes that have a dodge bash. I would probably say make the animation faster so it doesn’t change as much as removing it would and need hun into the ground so that characters with the side bashes are better at punishing him.

3. Be annoying and broken

Shino's bash is actually unpunishable for most heroes too, which was not the case for Oro who just required a read to punish. Oops.
If they just make it so he has to buffer backflip (and therefore can't do it on reaction) it'd honestly be fine.

@@olakpasa6486 I wrote that comment 3 months ago, before Shino's backflip got nerfed. At the time, Shino could react to anything you did after his kick and be safe because of the long input window and instant i-frame startup.

Didn’t touch for honor for like a year and I main shinobi… was so surprised when i was in my first game and I couldn’t do half the shit I used to do XD I’m having to relearn everything.
Really wish they hadn't removed the range attacks. Could just decreased the range and slowed down the animation to make it very situational. Made him an extremely uniuqe hero.
The issue is that the move was completely useless in 1v1’s and incredibly unfun in team fights because it could be done off screen, so animation time wouldn’t affect this.
Unfortunately what made Shinobi unique made them unhealthy in all game modes.
The main problem of shinobi is the zero revenge I seem to get or to give

Anytime I try to guard break I get a kicked 😂😂😂. He really needs a stamina nerf because kicks gets annoying and frustrating.

Yes but you know, lb's the slowest in the game, the rest too are reactable, and different to them shinobi's bash has 600 mls of Iframes.
Any undogeable attack, and some heavies hits it, also you can cancel the kick if you hit him with a light

You can flip after 2 lights in sickle rain and still have FA. you do not have to flip right away. Just dont do the third one. They need to take that shit away from him tho as well as the unpunishable bash

I'm glad to see a few sensible people in the comment section of this video who understand that Shinobi used to be absolute dogshit and not competitively viable whatsoever. Now that he is people want to cry about it because they can't be bothered to make a second read.
Shinobi no longer requires so much work to do well against competent players with that you might as well pick a different Hero. Be grateful that you don't have to struggle to beat a good Warden or Shugoki with Shinobi anymore.
You want to be piss drunk mad at a hero's balance state? Be piss drunk mad at Raider. His buff was entirely unnecessary and broke the game for console players for a little while.
People that trashed talked our boy for being op are now crying for hat we simply adapted to him being nerfed to hell. Once we got to hell we only had fire to forge us.
You can punish shinobi on read with a GB. It's not "unpunishable". Back-flip input after kick should not be able to be delayed on a miss, but you can still early dodge a kick and get a GB.
No, you cant gb the neutral and deflect bash on read. He does not eat it. The only bash that is punishable with a gb is the chain bash, which is a read
