Just discovered this game (bless the algorithm)! As a huge Sup Com and TA fan I really appreciate how this game improves on every aspect of those games - The click and drag mechanics alone are fantastic and add a new depth to the gameplay
I was the nuke tester, the only thing that increases with experience is their max health. Might be a balance check, since anti-nukes can't level up to match their fire rate.
Ahhhh that makes sense. Guess it's one of those things to get ironed out before the steam release XD
I think the Gauntlets up in the north on that cliff that were placed way behind the line actually paid off later when they got to fire constantly at a lot of the pushes coming in. It's a bit counterintuitive but I think that's actually a better way to place them most of the time than putting them on the front.
Static defense is best used to fight runbys in this game IMO, if you make it right on the front it dies to artillery or any other units that outrange it too easily. If you put it midway between your base and the front line though, it'll catch fast units that have leaked past your frontline and typically units fast enough to do that can't also outrange static defenses.
I think you're on to something really big here for sure. With units being mobile they can be a front line in an optimistic location while static can be a desperate fallback. Much to consider indeed!
Really enjoying the new and improved reccording settings! The wall of lightning turrets was the highlight of this game for me hahaha

There actually is a reason why you might want to build pincers on a map without water, they are extremely resistant to shuricans and since theres no AA vehicle in t1 it could be a solution to encountering them. I have killed a lot of shuricans with pincers because the shurican is an easy target when theyre firing at something, but in those cases i allso used the amphibeous capabillities of the pincer.
Missile Trucks are AA.
There is an AA vehicle in T1, it's called the missile truck. Whistlers and Lashers. They shoot both ground and air and they one-shot shurikens, sometimes multiple shurikens. They're pretty good at breaking porc, too. :3c I dunno if I like Pincers just for the EMP resist, they're _so_ fragile. The only other advantage they have is they can climb steeper hills, but vehicles can already climb every hill except the very back of the mid lane, which isn't really worth it.

It's funny because it used to be an extensive list but slowly, they've all been incorporated into the base game. At this point I think the only one I still use that isn't Standard is the Build power bar I think called TopBar2.0 on the Beyond All Reason Discord

I think cow and the gauntlet won that for some reason. It seemed a bad idea at first but it worked pretty well.
