Not that BBW cares about sustainability, but this is over the top. Sorry to be "that person," but it's just extra e-waste for the landfill. It makes me think the perfume is no good either to warrant a display like this. I'd rather the extra cost go into developing a quality perfume. Their perfumes have not been the best this year. Two hours and it's curtains.
If im gonna spend $70 on a perfume.. its gonna be name brand.

Very Cool Packaging I love it
I hate to be the inappropriate one. When I first saw this perfume, I thought something about how it looked and went over to Reddit and it was confirmed immediately that I’m not the only one who sees it…. The platinum does not remind me of Star Wars at all. This perfume bottle immediately looked like an adult toy to me. I came here to watch your review because I smelled it in store and really liked it. I got the lotion, body wash, and mini perfume using rewards. I like it enough to consider purchasing the perfume. I don’t know the quality yet but to me, the initial sniff seems on par with celebrity fragrances in that price range. Considering what it looks like to me, when you lit it up I started laughing and laughing. When you started wiping the prints from it I almost choked on my coffee. I was waiting for it to start vibrating next. Thank you for this review. It was extremely helpful but also unintentionally hilarious. Going to put myself in time out now…

I'm so curious about the scent, but I'm like you with Bergamot, and Patchouli is a hard no for me (unless it's unnoticeable.) I have to blind buy.
Initial spray it smells similar to Vanilla Romance then it dissipates, the body cream smells like chasing fireflies.
@@NyNativeTv Thank you 🙂I haven't smelled either one of those, but based on the notes, Vanilla Romance would not be for me. Maybe if a mini goes on clearance someday I'll risk it.

Very interesting comparison as to what the other person said about it smelling like vanilla romance and chasing fireflies. I have both of those and wear chasing flies once a week. I personally do not think platinum smells like either one of those. To me, It’s a smell of its own. I do think this scent is more of one of those “date night” scents. The packaging of it matches the scent for sure. The scent notes listed remind me of Elizabeth Taylor’s “white diamonds” perfume.

The packaging is very pretty, but this scent will be a hard pass for me. Initially when you put it on, it smells great. But the dry down (on me) smells like stale smoke. I'm not sure if I'll even use up the travel body cream that I got (used a freebie coupon.)

Hi Bonnie! The full size perfume is $59.50 here in Canada. Is the price higher in the U.S.? However, I will be skipping out on the perfume. I'd rather have the perfume itself as opposed to the box. The light up box is WAY too much for me. Eventually, the battery is going to die. I know there will be an upcoming FFM sale very soon, so I will be just getting the mist. I have yet to smell Platinum. If I really like the scent I would be just be happy with a mini EDP perfume. Just too much for me. The full size perfume would be great for something really special like if you are going to propose to someone. The perfume bottle also looks like something which I cannot mention LOL
I'm so happy I like this! ❤ hard to describe now that it's faded from my arm but it's a creamy floral that i just want to keep smelling. I wish i could place what perfume it smells like. I'm not a white floral person but this is addictive.
Bonnie do you keep the boxes for the perfumes? I have most of the boxes for mine because they are cool. Creative! But they take up so much room lol

I just don't know about Platinum. The packaging is beautiful. But I have Fairytale, Chasing Fireflies, Dream Bright and Dahlia. Why do I need this one too? 🤔 I like all the others but I dont wear them regularly because for me they are a little extra. Same with Luminous. So I don't need another collection that is going to sit around gathering dust.

I was in BBW yesterday, and it definitely is shiny and blingy. The sales associate was pushing it hard and then showed me how the box lights up. Unfortunately, it's not for me.

I'm conflicted. I like the scent and the bling but then again to keep the huge box around forever? It just takes up so much room and once the novelty wears off, when are you really going to light it up? Im struggling with all my BBW perfumes, i like all the packaging and end up hardly ever tossing out the boxes so i have shelves full!

It is all tacky. Tacky but fun! The over $150 packaging on real perfumes is tacky. Advertising is tacky. Fashion is tacky but fun! I worked in fashion trust me you would be stunned! Tacky, crass, rude, manipulative. 🤣😂 have fun with it.
I went in store for only a couple of seconds to try the scent so I didn’t even notice the box. It reminds me of a tanning lotion I used to wear called Luminary that came in a glittery bottle with twinkling LED lights on the label 😂
I think its pretty but the light feature on the box isnt making sense to me. I wish they figured out a way to put lights on the actual bottle.
I ordered the lotion and glowtion body butter in this! Nervous to smell!!!! I can't believe this lights UP!

I went into the store and smelled the mist. I’m liking Platinum and its packaging! I’ve never purchased their perfumes, but this would be a nice gift for my mom for Christmas 🎄 (Esp. if B&BW has a perfume sale 😆) I didn’t realize that the box lights up 🤩
Bath and Body Works despiration. Not worth the price, light up? Just a dumb idea. If you like the juice, get the mini! This price is too much and not for quality perfume.
I don’t buy the purfumes, but I love this one and the packaging 🥰🙌🏾🎉🥳- had to have it!! When the lights go dead I’ll just put those small fairy lights inside☺️
