I have never seen anyone react to this and not crack a smile throughout! This video is hilarious, very tongue in cheek, as are all their videos
This cover is a cover as it has to be. Put your own Identity on it without damaging the song as a whole. EC mastered that very well. I think the first part was intentionally to jump scare the people and it worked with me, despite knowing EC before, when I had listen to it the first time.
You are in for a wild ride with EC. Have fun with it!

The real original version is by Maggie Reilly, released in 1992.

Would be amazing if you'd check out more of Electric Callboy. They are a 6 member group from Germany.
The amazing music videos are also mostly done by the video production company Schillo Bros (which is owned by Pascal Schillo, the guitarist, and his brother who is not in the band)
They are amazing musicians, but really humble people and total goofballs.
Since you talked about the pit at live shows: I saw them twice this year, once at their concert (which was the best concert I've been to in my live so far) and once at a festival. And the amount of pits was amazing!
After checking out more of their hilarious music videos (I recommend We got the moves, Hypa Hypa, Pump it and Tekkno Train) you should definitely check out live performances, they have a ton of them filmed on their channel!
