    Brilliant! I've got the exact problem with my Kenwood TS-50. It looks a pretty straightforward job, thanks for this video.
    *Update*
    I unsoldered the original battery from the board, and replaced it with a CR 2032 battery holder. So now the battery is changeable without having to desolder it each time, and it works perfectly.

    Thanks Petra for the video. The original battery was CR2430 and which one was used...CR2032 or CR2450?

    Actually, I did the same thing but I did not have to do that jumper. Once you clean the pads properly with solder blobs from the factory, aftermarket battery's tab are long enough to reach them. But great video nevertheless.

    İ had diassembled a lithium battery socket-nest from a computer board. İ welded it on Ts50 memory plate..if this battery finishes too i can change new battery without welding .
