Great powwow. My husband and I were there all weekend as a vendor with The Desert Star, Nativew American Books & Music. Good to hear all the great drum groups, see the incredible dancing and see all our longtime friends. We've been vending at SoCal powwows for 29 yrs.

I'm from shinnecock and I must say I lived out there in San Bernardino and the shit I went threw out there you would all collapse and say how is that possible thank God I'm alive to even comment till this day but San Manuel you guys need to have control over your land and people instead of allowing the public to be compinsated , housed , jobed , control (period ) 😥.
San Manwell needs to respect the rest of Serranos that belong on THIER tribe& not exclude them ,what an asset they would be,the Serranos that carry same bloodline from Indidgenest,peoples,they know who they are coming from same time & lands survie ing the hard times without any recognition, help from tribe or BIA,but we Indians know in the end what ever may be or come remember as our elders say only the fittest survive in a good way I am a proud documented serrano.
