It worked like magic on my Dell Latitude 3510 , which is a fairly new laptop. I had my screw driver set out thinking it was some hardware failure. But this video was a life saver.
Holding the power button for 15 second helped my Dell laptop to restart which was stuck.

I have a Dell Latitude 7420 and this worked for me!!
The Dell Latitude 7420 doesnt have a removeable battery, but when I held the power button down for 20 seconds, closed it, opened it, and turned it back on it lit up right away!!
I put my laptop to sleep, left it charging all night, woke up to it not working and you helped me so much!!!
BTW theres a Dell official support video on here that doesnt help anyone experiencing this problem, so thanks!

Mungkin kasusnya berbeda, laptop yg sama saya pernah nyalakan lampu keyboard nyala layar mati (bukan black screen but screen on). Setelah di bawa ke service center, masalah di software BIOS nya, habis 75k rupiah

Same here.But you don't need to do that tutorial now. cause i did mine easier (this is only for dell) Step 1 is to try pressing the number 1 15 times and hold the power button for 15 minutes and done. That's how i did mine.
My laptop power is on. Fan is running. But, no display. In such issue, can I connect the laptop with an external monitor to check it's okay? Now, if there's display what does that signify? Please clarify. Also, please suggest if that's advisable or not i.e. connect the laptop with an external monitor?
