2:15 these two moments of INTENSE LYRICISM .... suddenly I can watch all the most painful hours of my life, moments of intense desire, impossible desires, loving moments, seconds of fate and destiny, hairs in the wind, glimpses of beautiful eyes, impossible to reach, shoes on the stairs, smell of her leather bag, confused with her body fragrance, seconds of irruptive perdendosi, and her voice, the only movement of her shoulters under the rain, the beautiful landscape of forests and fog behind her, the sound of the .... all hopeless and destroying memories ... love just flagging all around This music is a peak in itself , a summit, quite unbearable to me ...... Scriabin + Sofronitzky ............... uncommentable
Great playing and great sound! Are you sure this was made in the Scriabin Museum? The recordings of VS playing in that location that I heard usually have pretty poor sound (this seems to be a larger hall) and the instrument seems to be different, too.
I agree. Some of Sofronitsky's Scriabin Museum performances sound as though we are hearing him play in a different room, on a barroom piano. This recording is an anomaly--a fortunate one--if the performance is from the Scriabin Museum.
@@michieldpiano Don't worry, among ""frustrated"", Scriabin has already the gold medal, Sofronitzky and Horowitz as very strong competitors, silver medalists anyway, and after these monsters, thousands of wrong people, raging, howling, full quantums of living depression, traumas and melancholias of all kinds, suffering the complete panorama of strong, vivid and sterile neurosis, even psychopaths, when it's going wrong with the bottle, toxic men (only men, never any woman) , polluting other's life, pretending, with their pathetic arrogance, that they are the most interesting victims on earth ............. (You see , I'm one of them ......... )
@@Fritz_Maisenbacher I can't even move my fingers anymore because I drank a bottle of chartreuse with diazepam and dominal forte. Like people are waiting to hear "my" Kinderszenen. I wish I wasn't born.

It is most certainly from the Scriabin Museum.
@@ClassicalPianoRarities Thank you for confirming that this performance is from one of VR’s Scriabin Museum recitals.
05:52 2nd mov.
I hear myself playing
"You are the rebirth of Sofronitsky" - Merzhanov to me
You were Merzhanov’s pupil?
I had 1 masterclass while being (as usual) drunk.
Now I am the most frustrated "pianist" in the entire solar system.
