So much wisdom in this. Every time I've tried to copy someone I look up to, it's never worked. I always have to follow my own path and trust that I am enough. And it works every time. Thanks for the perspective on this Naval!
The best channel I’ve found in a Long time. You’ve managed to simplify several ideas and learnings into your own philosophy, a perfect blend of spiritual self awareness with business acumen. Very excited to be learning with you.
@@sebastianschulz6531 looking within yourself doing things that you enjoy to do, from a external point of view, what type of skills it takes to be good to do it. Enhance yourself & invest in getting better. Eventually you’re be able to put that in a team.
I outlined the steps below because I really feel that Naval just gave the formula for happiness in life. Naval's Darwinian Formula for Happiness: 1. Competition is counterproductive 2. We are highly memetic creatures 3. Copying leads to competing 4. Competing is a status game that drives you towards the wrong answer 5. Escape competition through authenticity 6. Specialize in being you 7. Gravitate towards the things you are good at 8. Combine your vocation and avocation 9. Build and Market something that is an extension of yourself
Love this clip and this human. I like how he introduces the product / market fit concept as key as well. Rather than just hearing the old adage of... Follow your passion and the money will follow. Well my unicycling jugglng career has gone no where and at least now I know why. Sounds like I could add another skill to the stack to unlock this unicorn. I think I'll try deliving stock tips while juggling on a unicycle. It'll be known. As the Unicycle Unicorn'. Anyway, all jests aside my intro statements remain true.
What are your thoughts on consistency on something what are u good at..if I good at something will it last long? Or I have to attached with it all the time? Like when I see I'm being distracted by something I feel like I'm loosing that thing what I'm good at? Need answer please.
Lol he think Joe Rogan is hard to replace. Rogan sucks. What's so special about him as a podcaster? Has an opinion on everything and gets his facts from wikipedia. And documentaries. He did a swell job on fear factor. Haha

If you're trying to compete, then you're missing the point of business. The best businesses are monopolies. Monopolies don't compete.
Thank you for the inspiration. God bless 💕

#1309 - Naval Ravikant The Joe Rogan Experience
Tanmay op
i am still out looking for musk to accomplish anything else than raising money.
The fact that Naval admires Scott Adams honestly makes me doubt his entire philosophy.
you should read scott adam’s blog from the old days. it used to be quite amazing
@@tbzishere Thanks I'll check it out. I've been put off by his Twitter feed which is a screed of nonsense.
