    Hey everyone! We love reading your comments and appreciate all your support. Here in Europe, we're hitting a new port every day with no sea days, so we're a bit swamped with editing and posting videos. We're falling behind but promise to catch up. We like to respond to your comments personally and avoid generic replies, so it might take a bit longer. Rest assured, we'll post a video from every port. Thanks for watching and being part of our journey!

      Don't worry, the adventure doesn't end when the cruise does - we've got plenty more travel plans in the works. So keep watching, there's lots more to come!

    Initially we thought we will make Civitaveccia our 'sea day' as we had been to Rome many times not only on cruises but also land tours. However thanks to your sharing Tressa, we had decided to explore Civitaveccia instead. Is there a free shuttle from the cruise ship terminal to Civitaveccia town centre?

    Rome never disappoints. The Vatican and St. Peter’s Basilica were incredible. It is a very walkable city and of course the FOOD…AHHHHH

    Thanks for giving a history lesson on Rome and the colosseum.

      Glad you enjoyed the history lesson! We usually focus more on the present in our videos, but Rome's history is just too fascinating to ignore. It's like walking through a living museum. Thanks for watching! Sorry for the late response - we’ve been super busy with new ports every day here in Europe. Cheers!

    I'd want to go out of season - my worst nightmare being stuck in those queues and just people everywhere - I can't believe I live in England and haven't been to Rome...I'll work on it!

    • @bztravel
      @bztravel  Месяц назад

      Going out of season is definitely the way to go if you want to avoid the crowds. Trust me, those queues can be a nightmare! And hey, living in England, you're so close - it's just a quick hop over. You’ll love it once you get there. Good luck planning your trip! Sorry for the late reply - Europe’s been keeping us on our toes with a new port every day. Cheers!

      The Vatican is a must see no matter how religious you are… the history and art is fascinating. We booked through The Roman Guy to get early entry.

    How many days would you suggest spending in Rome? What’s a good time of year to miss the “biggest crowds”?

    • @bztravel
      @bztravel  Месяц назад

      We're not experts, and everyone has their own take on things, but if I were planning it for myself, I'd spend 3-4 days in Rome. That gives you enough time to soak in all the major sights without rushing. For fewer crowds, I'd recommend going in October or May - the weather is still great, but it's not as packed. Hope that helps! Sorry for the delay - Europe’s got us busy with new ports every day. Enjoy your trip!

    Even in October, the crowds are bad
