- We had the best time on the Dave Koz Cruise and found ourselves inspired to write a song while at sea... we felt it needed more saxual energy. So we brought the saxy forces together. We are SO thrilled to have Dave, Candy, Eric, and Alex join us for this original song, "Koz I Love You." Filmed live in Katakolon!

fyi, we filmed this in a tiny town in Greece, called Katakolon...on the dock where the ship pulled up :)
Could this Dave Koz "3726" possibly be the "1 & only 1" Dave Koz? If so and in the .0001% chance you may see this.......thank you for the music you bring. I have played harmonica 50 years now, was full time pro by age 20. I started in Bluegrass, then country, then had a Swing Dance.Jazz/Blues/R&B band for 10 years, 7 years on the Austin scene, etc. I have adapted many of your tunes and performed them on harp. In my Swing/Jazz band I would usually have 1 or two horns also so we would double on tunes like "Saxman". But I have picked up much by playing your tunes like "Shakin' the Shack", "Sounds of the Underground" or just putting on one of your CDs and jamming along.....hoping some good phrasing and timing and maybe a few licks would soak in by osmosis. Enjoy your sounds along with others I have also picked up from and worked with what I can on harmonica......David Sanborn (RIP), Maceo, Marienthal, and of course the early swing players. I always appreciate though you ability to bring the lively, soulful and bluesy to the music. Cheers for many more years ahead......I am at the coast between San Diego and LA.

I love Grace and Leo's musical influence on each other. They both seem to naturally blend their individual styles with the other musicians and allow the style of other musicians to influence how their music. It is like an incredible echo chamber when Grace and Leo get together. Both of them has always been very flexible musicians, but now they have meld a very dynamic aspect to their performance.

What type of sax is David Koz playing, sounds like a Soprano but looks like a mini alto.
It's a curved soprano. This one is probably a vintage Conn, nickel-plated. A few companies still make curved sopranos.
