I mean, it's kinda neat, you can map any button in the game so np. But how the LightSpeed Dash works on Frontiers, specially Switch, is stupidly janky!
I've never had a problem with it. In fact, I actually prefer it. It never worked well in SA1 because you had to charge it up which breaks the pace a lot. In SA2, it was mapped to the same button as the bounce, somersault and spin-dash, so there's often times where I'm trying to light dash in mid-air but end up bouncing down into the abyss, or when running on ground, I'll try and light dash and instead do a somersault. In Frontiers, all the face buttons are used for combat or other things. X is the punch, kick and Homing attack, A is jump, double jump and drop-dash, B is slide and stomp and Y is Cyloop. RT is Boost, LT is Spin-Dash, RB/LB are quickstep and dodge, so if you want the light dash, it has to be on a thumbstick. Where else is it meant to go?
