I agree with both of your panelists. But I have said this before, if Trump wins, ignorance sweeps him back into the White House. And voting for a felon to get top secret security clearance is ignorant, voting for a man who can't go to certain countries because they do not allow felons in is ignorant, Voting for a felon to have access to nuclear weapons is ignorance, And voting for a man who is supposed to protect us from threats both foreign and domestic when he didn't even want to protect the capital is ignorance🤷🏿
I agree with you. BUT, there is always a but or is it a butt? All of this we are seeing is what the "founding" father's fathers did to ensure that melinated and unmelanated people would never band together again. Remember that this "movement" is almost as old as our ancestors captivity in this land. All in all, as we all know, they are not reproducing to replace their numbers.

People were being lynched when trump was in office. Think of all the violence towards blacks, and others during COVID and the George Floyd protests. He made it ok.

I’m hearing that too. None of the Civil Rights laws are going to help us if Project 2025 becomes law.

Right now there is a huge memorial to lynchings in Montgomery, AL. It's more than a moving experience.

I worked at a 3 community hospital back in 2008 when Obama got elected, every tv in those hospitals were on Fox , these smaller communities live in this space, my co worker could not survive without her daily dose of Glen Beck and Bill O'Reilly back then. When President Obama won my co worker was so sick she wrote/emailed the other co workers that she is taking three days off for mourning and she was serious and she did just that. Sorry Don, you have to be and work amongst these people to realize Crazy has no ceiling. (But to be fair, when Trump won I also felt sick)
I was sick for a whole week and cried.

As we comment in this space, Conservatives are actively chipping away the Voting Rights Act and Affirmative Action protections that MLKjr fought so hard to make reality. Just recently, MAGA SCOTUS effectively made Gerrymandering based on racism legal when they reversed a lower court ruling blocking the South Carolina racist Gerrymandered map brought to the court by the NAACP. But you still have Blacks supporting MAGATS who are effectively continuously chipping away their Civil Rights. Make it make sense for me. Smh 😂

He's involved in the middle east war now. They thought he would win,but Biden through a wrench in their plans. I’m so sad. I’ve got family members who want to vote for Trump.
I’ve got friends who won’t vote.
The problem is twofold that we don’t want to talk about.
1 - Religion, many black churches are homophobic, and transphobic and they are driving simple-minded Black folk to vote GOP
2- Looking cool. Anytime I try to educate some of my people, you can see the eye rolls or the outright disses. I’m a geek or a nerd for staying informed. Our people believe that ignorance is cool. And unfortunately our celebrities reinforce that.

I love these words because it helps me explain something. I started at 12 years old working with a elderly physics professor and we developed a community science centre. By the time I was 19 the university secretly exploited our resources and reputation and developed a fraudulent mining industry funded program which literally succeeded in turning my science centre into industry promotions and programs which helped teachers turn their classrooms into maga style bible camps where Canadian tar sands and environmental racism were basically praised like Jesus. 25 years later and the entire community is still cover it up.

Excellent discussion. I’m always amazed at their reasoning for passing such laws in the red states. Like black people are mostly on an even ground now and we have allies. Like do they really think we’ll be as easily subdued as second time?! I don’t get it. What do they think is gonna happen? We have money, confidence, education, can own weapons too, etc. The playing field (and by this I mean non legal cause I recognize the system itself is racist or has racist undertones) is more even. I know, that I personally will never willfully accept my own subjugation, and I’m a pacifist. lol. These GOP members and maga confuse me. People are generally smarter and more open. I don’t think it will go the way they want it to.
Karen the continued perpetuation of minority rule principle which is rooted in the constitution. The structure of the congress where there is equal representation in the senate regardless of population and the smaller states have the same power as the larger states, thus the minority will continue to rule.

@@KarenHunterShow Biden didn’t do anything specifically for Black People. He took our votes and did policies for every other non-black and group we watched him 3 years. I agree with a mass deportation of all illegal immigrants. With Biden, Helen Yellen and Jerome Powell gone we can focus on the economy recovering. Also with Biden gone it will bring an end to the Ukraine and Russian war so we can stop spending money there. Also since Biden and Kamala made it clear they will not do policies that will only benefit Black People. Under Trump and Republicans no minority gets anything they all get the black treatment. Maybe these other minorities will put pressure on the Democrats to deliver on a specific black agenda like the Contract With Black America. They know the republicans will also start to target these other minorities sets asides and policies like abortions, lgbqt rights and DACA. Maybe these other groups will then support cash reparations for the descendants of American slaves and policies specifically for us.
