    Shane- it occurs to me that if you had chosen to be a mathematician instead of a musician, a whole lot of us would understand differential calculus better... Great job. Thanks

    A good friend of mine told me, "If you can't feel the song, you'll never be able to play it."
    He's so right, the feeling is all the the strumming hand.
    Thanks for another great lesson Shane.

    Hey Shane. great lesson. How do you get your guitar to sound so lovely? Very full sound but still bright and the bass sound is killer! help please.

    • @GuitarAtWork

      Thank you Tim - much appreciated. You're hearing the guitar plugged straight into the mixer which then travels straight to the computer to record. I add a little bit of reverb and compression on mixdown and that's it. You're also hearing some bleed from my lapel microphone which captures my voice. That helps for a little warmth. Cheers, Shane

    Hi Shane. I enjoy your lessons. Do you use the opposite end of the pick?

    • @GuitarAtWork
      @GuitarAtWork  3 года назад

      Hi Mark - thanks for that. I do use the opposite end of the pick - I call it the 'heel' of the pick. I don't use the pointy end. I find I can hang onto it a lot better and I get better tone. Cheers,
      Shane

    Just gotta ask. Could you get away with playing an E instead of A/G during the punches?

    • @GuitarAtWork
      @GuitarAtWork  3 года назад +1

      Thanks Steven - much appreciated. And....Yes, you can play an E there for sure, you lose the bassline but that's OK. Cheers, Shane
