Same here - particularly that third game, typically 2 of my losses are to that kind of thing, occasionally only one. This typically happens by 3-4 wins though, not at only one. Thank goodness. At least I typically get all my gold's worth out of arena. :| It's changed to be like this a lot more in the last couple weeks.

Bálint Gyuri New Kripperinos tend to get a "like spike" in the beginning of their career. I experienced the same thing when I started out. I believe it's that, combined with me being a tad late without a joke on this one that causes him to beat me.
I actually had a joke in my mind about going from being a (criminal) gang member to being a (chain) gang member. Decided to give up due to it being awkward to phrase and the punchline being really mediocre.

@ 11:26 - you should have attached with the novice first so you could keep the 1/1 poisonous taunt on board and maintain tempo.
@ 12:47 - should have played both creatures prior to attacking since it may have been freezing trap and your nestic roc wouldn't have had taunt. if it was snipe, it would have killed the 4 mana either way. if it was poisonous cobra, it would have had the same outcome either way. you risked not getting the extra turn to live
playing the 1/1 first would also be my choice
Ha, this happens almost every arena for me in the last week or two (only played a few due to the bullshit), its why I was surprised at you saying it was the best meta for a while. It always feels like my opponents have perfect answers and I get hideously punished for risks taken.
Totally true bro. I played last 10 days close to 50 arena (seriously) as a last effort before i give up but that also failed. I'm the guy who always knows numbers and stats (for example i studied new occurance charts for couple hours) so it isn't problem to explain for me why this arena meta is so bad.... and it is terrible. Strong contender for worse meta so far.
Kripp just doesn't know what he is talking about because his analyses end on checking out class winrates and most 10 cards played.
I can post here in lets say 10 points why arena is so bad if you interested in more scientific point of view than Kripps imaginations.

Nobody says Kripp is bad player as he clearly isn't - we are just saying he doesnt understand arena right now and is wrong in his statement how good balance is. This has nothing to do with skill. I can easily explain why this is happening based on statistics and pure facts Kripp can't as he didn't put any effort into understanding this particular arena meta.Not like he wouldn't been able, he is just too lazy or its too convienent for him to approve current system. I'm like 100% sure you also don't know numbers involved in arena system so i would be very cautious with calling jerks peole with much bigger knowledge. In fact this is general statement.

I doubt he is even wrong, I was just commenting on my experiences recently really. I had one twelve win run, a couple of 9ishes and a bunch of 2-3 or 4-3.

i mean.. its kinda balance? or blizzard can implement these to arena only.
there idea is the player get to choose which advantage they want.
coin = mana/hand advantage
1/2 taunt = board advantage
gain armor = hero advantage

That's why I don't do arena. This is my experience every single run I've had besides one where I went 9-2 which I shouldn't have ever been able to do. Every other time is just "Hey you have 1 5, 6, and 7 drop each so here's all of them in your opening hand after the mulligan :D"

I am happy for Kripp, because actually that's how every single arena run goes for me. I hear Kripp saying "Area is at its best right now" and I go for it. I love Arena and that was the only mode I played (I had an average of 7+ wins with several 12 wins, so I'm not the first of the noobs), but then I start a run and I go second against: 1-drop, win more, win more, perfect answer, win more, win more and then I lose and go to the next match where it's exactly the same. I thought I was just unlucky and then played four or five runs, but EVERY SINGLE TIME it's like that. The snowball is real. I am of course rusty, not playing arena for more than an year and some games I lose because I misplay, but when the majority of the time I have no way of saying in the game I play, it's not fun at all...

2:21 Doesn't pick Ironbeak Owl - Even though silence is 3/3 of stat removal on average
3:50 Doesn't pick Couldron Elemental - Even though it has so many synergies and for some mysterious reason had very low score
5:31 Ironbeak replacement trades with 1/4 - what a loss of value already
8:05 "OH look I just got rekt" - After he himself gets silenced - punished!
8:20 Playing against mage with Pyro is really tough so have no problem with the loss

Utter bulshit...
2 years of playing arena almost every day, probably around 340 days a year, couple times on the leaderboard at EU and i'm fucking done. Freaking rng everywhere, every 3rd or 4rd run kicking from battlenet, totally unlayable arena for any deck (rogue exception) below 68 points, on 2-1 or 3-2 getting paired with 73+ decks and many more bullshit. Worst arena meta in whole Hearthstone history. This have nothing to do with good envoirment.
One of better examples how fucked is arena right now is the Nightscale Matriarch which is 22 points lower than earlier while there is very slight decrease in number of Dragonslayers played... Fuck me if this isn't indicator of full aggro meta as it is slow, control, win more card. It's insane and of course there is much more that kind of cards which had changed dp drastically due to shifting meta.
Fuck me i'm out, call me when this bulshit is done.
