So, before standard rotations, Dr Boom and Loatheb were the two most broken cards in the game.
In the year of the kraken and year of the mammoth, the pirate package was the most oppressive set of cards in the game.
In the year of the raven, Baku Rogue was the most oppressive deck in the game.
Turns out, when you put all of these in one deck, it's preeeeeeetty good.

It wasn't just Warrior. Shaman and Rogue had good pirate decks too. Warrior just happened to also have that 1 mana pirate that gave you a weapon.
@@ucyqweyq7whucvn141 pirates weren't only in warrior tho. The pirate package was so powerful it was even ran in token druid when token druid only had 4 other pirates besides patches. The reason why warrior used pirates was because of the 1 Mana 1/1 with a 1/3 wep that alone on turn 1 was 2/2 with a 1/3 wep and That's not even including weapon buffs.
He said '[i]n the year of the kraken and year of the mammoth', so only decks from those formats count. Only warrior had a top tier pirate deck. Also, this was pre-nerf for Patches too.
Baku Paladin is a bit more oppressive than Baku Rogue imo. They are less common, but not less oppressive
“Actual 100% win rate” is what I tell myself every time I lose 5 games, switch decks, then win 1. It keeps me going.

Javier Torre in wild odd rogue is one of the least degenerate decks, psychmelon druids, big priest, kingsbane rogue and even shaman are much more triggering to play against
Did you skip the part where he litteraly says it was to see how actually broken the deck was ? Did you see him spam Giant Hunter when he made the deck ?
Kripp is the kinda guy to try both the most op decks and the meme decks to actually understand the game and actually know if something is op or just hard to play.

Odd shaman is actually a very fun deck to play. My personal favorite from what Witchwood introduced.

Nice, I play the same decklist -1 Giggling +1cobalt scalebane since the middle of Witchwood. And its by far my best Winrate Deck ever since,me and gets me my Golden epic faster each month. Need to try the Change your Decklist made out, see you again once i collect the results.

Kripp my guy what's good hope you're having a great life and such, a long time fan 1st time commenter here. I'm not too sure if you read comments, however I was just wondering, if you could post an updated arena tips and tricks type of vid with step by step drafting as too why you picked what cards you did. I've been really enjoying arena lately but have not much luck, I average around 3 wins but don't seem to get far over it. I am just very curious as to how someone who knows their shit drafts an arena deck and I'm not talking play a whole day of arena and post your most successful run because I know that's a classic with other content creators. So yeah If that makes sense I would appreciate it 100 times over, just your thoughts on which cards you're picking and why. For the cause of us noobs out there, or something like that.

i remember when i started playing hearthstone and discoverd kripp good old times where i couldn't afford to craft a epic card cause i had legit no dust or gold for anything so i crafted some core common and rare cards until i could afford my first midrange/controle priest to challenge mine and kripps favorit deck wich i could never play thanks to my lack off dust to the times and now thans to the standartd aggro cancer the one and only controle/fatigue warrior where a mirror match was decided not by missing an atack but by missing an hero power after 8 turns in fatigue
This deck was played in EU on 2nd week of witchwood and no changes up until now. You should have advertised it 2 expansions later

I had a golden Dr. Boom. It's the only golden legendary I ever opened. I dusted it for this expansion because I was crafting crap like crazy. Now I regret it. Also 3/10

Patches is kinda the only reason to include Pirates in your deck
I am not sure if I would rather play against aggro decks or OTK decks but neither are fun to me. I liked patron warrior meta because it was just a combo where you could easily come back from if you had a board clear that did 3 damage.
