Age old question: where did you find your Aibo ERS 7 ? And I'm curious, are ERS 7 programable ? I know the latest version have the Mind 3 stick, but it's just a thought I had since I will soon start my studies in computer science and would love to go towards robotics. Obivously, I'm thinking way ahead, but I've always been fascinated by robots like Aibo and Nao, so I enjoy looking at videos that show them in action !
Yes there was an SDK for the ERS7 it used C++. If you google it you will see many studies done by Universities with Aibo, he was the very first personal robot with a camera, great robot for sure. I would imagine we will see a international release of Aibo soon!
OMG! Professor could you please adopt me! I'm 55 years old so I shouldn't be too much bother. I dream of living with Nao, Cosmo, & Aibo, before I die ;o) As it stands I'll be lucky to adopt Cosmo someday :o(

It’s something I did not think about and what I think makes pepper unique. I wanted to let you know that I enjoy your videos a lot. I love the Lost in Space robot and Robbie. Did you make them or are they the actual props?
Yes Pepper could really be the robot in every home but right now in USA is 25k! I build the Lost in Space robot yes! As for Robby he was built by guy and used at Macy's in display as he rented it to them. Then sold to me for a bargain. He has some scratches and stuff but I can live with it!
This is actually a condensed version of what really happened, I did lose my job after 20 years and the robots really did save my income but we had to spicen the story up a little! All is well here, Merry Christmas
