Hey guys welcome back to my channel! Today we're going to be doing a bit of a sequel to a video I put out a few weeks ago! The original video, "exploring the most chaotic channel on television: TLC" was on the channel TLC as a whole where we went through some of the most popular shows and talked about how weird the channel is (and honestly has always been lol). I noticed a lot of you guys wanted me to talk a bit more about one show specifically which was 90 Day Fiancé which I am definitely more than happy to talk more about because I definitely have THOUGHTS lol. Considering a lot of people have already made videos on the show, I thought it would be fun if we ranked some popular couples and talk about what they've been doing outside of the show as well, (I noticed some people on my last video had suggested ranking as well, if u noticed that ur comment was gone it's because I hid it because I wanted it to be a surprise dfjgjdfg but our MINDS.... truly in sync).
Anyways today we'll be looking at couples like Ed and Rose, Colt and Larissa, Colt and Jess, Jihoon and Deavan, Tom and Darcy, Armando and Kenneth, Angela and Michael and Brittany and Yazan and then ranking them based on what I've seen on the show so far! Of course, this isn't an exhaustive ranking because not every couple on the show is in today's video so if you want to rank couples I didn't mention in the comments down below, have at it! i think it could be fun~ also if you feel like any of the couples i DID rank today belong in a different tier, I'd love to hear which one and why as well!

Michael did not deserve Angela at all. I hate how this world won't take men who are being abused by their girlfriends or wives seriously because women are just as capable of abuse as men are and I'm saying this as a woman. I can make a rare exception for him and other abuse victims for my "cheating is never justified" rule because Angela is an awful human being and he was probably terrified of what would happen if he tried breaking up with her like if I was him I would be scared shitless too. The poor man probably just wanted to feel happiness and not be tormented everyday so for his sanity he started talking to another woman.
As a night shift nurse, TLC is literally the only thing me and my coworkers can watch.... so sadly this show has became a guilty pleasure and I 100% agree with your ranking.

Well the show is based of the fact the visa to get married is 90 days. The show doesn't necessarily force people to get married in a short amount of time , but the US gouvernement forces you to rush the marriage process which I think is kinda weird
You'll notice if you watch the show that most couples have known each other minimum 6 months, the name is just a reference to the deadline on a marriage visa and heads up, the 90 day limit is not only present in the US so it's not about us :)
As someone who's using this visa to go to the UK, it takes multiple thousands and multiple months just to apply and then the 90 day deadline begins when you actually receive your approval for the visa. So probably an extra 6 months to a year, likely longer before they're actually married. It's not that rushed
the 90 day limit is the PERFECT concept for a reality show though. like i love 90 day fiance because they saw an opportunity and they TOOK it

I know Erika from the most recent season and she said that she had no idea what the show even was before she was signed up for it, it was all Stephanie’s idea. Obviously this isn’t the case for every couple on the show but in her case at least she REALLY had no idea what she was getting into.
From what I have heard, the show doesn’t pay as much as you would think. I am currently going through this visa process with my fiancé and the show (or similar shows) have been known to reach out to couples in the visa groups I am in. Having gone through the visa process myself, I can say it is a huge incentive to go on the show because the visas are prioritized and processed very quickly. Whereas the rest of us have to wait and wait to be approved. I’ve been apart from my fiancé for 2.5 years. The process from start to finish can take about 9 months, or longer depending on the country. In my case, we were approved in March but Covid has everything at a complete standstill.
Edit to correct myself: I don’t think the visa petition itself gets prioritized by USCIS. It is possible that the show helps with the process to get the fiancé here as quickly as possible. There are services like rapid visa which do this but it comes at a cost which some can’t afford. It is also a costly process in general, it would not surprise me if the show helped pay some of the fees. I don’t know any of this as fact though.

I think the biggest flex I have in my repertoire at the moment is that my mom has been watching this show way before the Big Ed memes circulated. Like I’m talking since 2018, and she would always try to get me to watch it with her. She is a trendsetter, she is a cool kid, and she is *the moment*

I’m so glad that Armando and Kenny were the only couple in that top tier. They are just so wonderful, the only time I questioned either of them was when Kenny didn’t like horchata. As a couple they are just leaps and bounds above the rest.

I looked up the "List of 90 Day Fiancé" episodes on Wikipedia to look at when each of these couples showed up, and honestly, the descriptions that each one gets in the teasers/synopsis says a lot about how healthy their relationships are. When Kenny and Armando get something like "Armando prepares for Kenny and his family to meet" and Deavan and Jihoon (who are in the same season) get things like "Deavan gives Jihoon a shocking ultimatum" you can just see the difference. Also, maybe it's just me, but a language barrier in a marriage feels like a red flag to me? But that might just be me.
