GTA Vice City is highly regarded as the BEST Grand Theft Auto game EVER. Do you agree? It's hard (for me at least) to sit down and try to think of things that I dislike about GTA Vice City. It was a great game in many aspects and I honestly can't think of anything negative to say about the game. Is GTA Vice City the BEST GTA game?
Thank you for watching and have a nice day!
*What do you dislike about Vice City?!*
ZacCoxTV nothing it's perfect anyways
gamer HD it glitches out a lot
ZacCoxTV GTA Liberty City stories next pls
ZacCoxTV i have never played Vice City
The physics are broken if frame limiter is turned off so you're stuck at 30 fps.
This is also the problem in GTA 3 and SA

Constipated Wonka yeah
WE NEED TO GO TO TARGET MAP
Ez_ ez101 it’s based on challenge my freind challenge
I like how this gem of a game is still relevant 16 years later 😊
Rogue Ninja Rod complete classic. If I had only 1 game to play....its this one been saying this for over a decade. No game has changed my mind
Yeah nostalgia does that. The gameplay aged like an Asian woman going from 49 to 50
It's not.
Blaze up Gta san andreas is better than this crap game
A true classic never goes out of style. Plus it was one of the most fan favorite gtas
I wanna see gta 6 return to vice city as well but still sticking with the Scarface theme id like to see them include Cuba, Columbia and the Caribbean in between along with Miami of course being the primary area.
Agreed.
Yes!
Vice city is small map. Maybe they need tomake a bigger map than Los santos of gta V.
P
But they would need to go back to 80s miami since vice city was all about the era more than the location
And modern era gtas are boring and done to death
What I hate about GTA Vice City: I'm not in it
Niko you forget you were stealin diamonds from mister bulgarin in 2002?
Busta....Straight busta
Niko Bellic go bowling
Hey Niko let's go bowling!
Let's go bowling!
The best things about vice city are:
1.the 80s setting is great
2.the characters
3.the soundtrack (the best of all gta)
4.the story
5.tommy is awesome
6.the voice actors
7.the map
The worst things are:
1.everything else
DUDE! V-Rock, Wave 103, and Flash FM were so good! They're great in Vice City Stories too.
@James Barlow Ahahahahahahahahaha Tommy hate Kent Paul
Summer it up nicely
I don't know about the soundtrack. My favorite soundtrack out of all Grand Theft Auto series is San Andreas's soundtrack. That 1980s and early 1990s West Coast hip-hop. I love it!
demonocus metalocus theres no best soundtrack every soundtrack is.
I didn't like how you couldn't lock-on with assault rifles, just did that 1st-person crap
Yep same
the aiming witht he scope
Yeah
You could on Consoles

Still love it even if it makes me mad sometimes I just recently played it again ❤
For me, Vice City cops are way easier than GTA III, probably because I got GTA Vice City in 2011 and I only got GTA III in the end of 2019.
I swear to god if you begin about "Demolition Man", it isn't as bad as people say. people keep saying as if it's unbeatable, but it's quite easy so can we please stop about that one.
Greg Yahory agree i beat it my 2nd try first time playing the game and first try second time playing the game
Greg Yahory I agree. For me the one when you race the getaway driver was tough. Had to walk away from that one for a few days then beat it.
With a gamepad it's pretty easy. Otherweise you can also customize the control options.
The mission was easy, the driver mission was hard
I beat it on the first try when the game came out.
I can think of a few things .
Not being able to swim.
Not enough space for new guns/melee weapons.
No planes to do sick tricks in.
There,s more but the list is too long.
Big Gamer29 gta vice city is the best swimming simulator
SAVAGE Youngboi 21 its just a joke i know
Nippletwister69 Alsonurple i know it was a joke that's why your comment made me laugh
The swimming thing in this game and gta 3 really drove me crazy.
Sorry never got swimming lessons
If i was a GTA protagonist, i wouldn't swim because i don't know how to do it.
Same
No one: Me: I knew how to swim since I was like 6.
I said it with the Wrong Side of The Tracks mission and I'll say it with the RC Helicopter mission I never understood why people thought it was hard just pick up the bombs slice some dudes drop em then your done😂😂 the racing hillary mission was hard as hell tho😂
Well, i did the driver mission by luck. (Hilary's car stuck in some place)
I've never had problems with Demolition Man either. Every time I replay the game I beat that mission on one try. Personally I have more problems with Bombs Away, you have to drop bombs on moving boats, but that mission is never mentioned. I guess people have harder times placing bombs on stationary objects than moving speed boats.
Akeyrtainment yes it's takes less tried but I still feel like I'm counting more on luck than anything else😂
I Drank Febreze in the racing mission it took me a few tries but I beat demolition man one try. I tried again on the anniversary edition and got the same results.
I agree. Demolition Man were nothing compared to The Driver were you had to ram Hillary down in order to win. Demolition Man is somewhat a pointless mission though.
I Love Gta Vice City
Doge
SAME
Boring af, the graphics suck also... when I pass away, I want my conscience to be uploaded into a digital matrix, and live eternity as CJ, playing through GTA SA.
Christopher Ryan Curtis nah you are just trash at the game i bet lmao
the old gtas are pretty cool
they are not gta online but they are equaly awesome(i am 13 years old)
After SA the best in the series in my eyes.
For it's time it was amazing that soundtracks alone and that first time driving past that coastline with neonlights was dope.
Well, all of those issues excluding the mission ones are simply because of technical stuff, they didn't have much technology back then in 2002 , and mission wise it's meant to be challenging for a reason, most of the gta v players complain about its missions being too easy, every game must have some challenges you know, nice video pal !
yeah and best part, after you complete these missions, you feel like you got an 'A' for a test. Its an amazing feeling.
+Gamerlogic exactly
Didn't have much technology back then? San Andreas runs on the exact same console hardware as GTA 3 did you forget? Nobody can build a new AAA game from scratch including the engine and physics in less than a year so they reused as much as possible or omitted features to make vice city possible in a short time frame and that's fine.
KAOS Gaming patrick:WE HAVE TECHNOLOGY!
The reason why you can't swim is there is sharks it says it on the manual
Perk AHolic it’s an excuse
Perk AHolic haha
well victor can swim and he was in vice city. its just tommy cant, or they didn't know how to make player be able to swim yet.
He literally said that in the video...

5 Things Players DISLIKE About GTA Vice City Stories
Graphics, poor history in the beginning. ANNOYING SIDE MISSIONS
The sharks attacking u every 5 minutes 😑 2006 vibes
Vice city stories is better then vice city.
LusoJr vice city stories by far of that generation had the best visuals not comparing it with gta iv and the later games obviously
The whole game sucked.
How come Vice City Stories isn't on android yet the other ones are available to download and I've been waiting for VCS to be available but it hasn't 😬
I know how to download
Cause PSP is its portable port
its on mobile
What I dislike about Vice City is Mercedes Cortez didn’t get together with Tommy and Candy Suxxx should have been a friend to hang out with
Tommy is no cuck 🙅
Did you look at this comment zack
I think he looked at the comment

Me: Wait that's illegal
No because I was really like "How tf? 🤨"
The thing I hate about vice city is that it lack from highways, plus the map is way too much smaller as compared to other gta maps.
This is still one of my top 10 games today despite its flows but we definitely have to look at it from it’s time (2002) and what was possible then or what could even be executed well. On the ps2 I experienced a lot of freezes just because of the frame rate and the limited power of the system itself. Driving fast in the races could be quite annoying because of this. The lackluster vehicle ai of the time especially when you were trying to do say an ambulance mission and you were flying down towards Little Havana and another vehicle suddenly switches lanes right in front of you was a pain in the ass. I really hated how in this game if you were running and switched from pavement to grass or stepped or walked over a curb you lost health and Tommy groaned. I never understood that. Was he pulling a hammy or something? Having so many cops around could be annoying but I also liked the challenge and going on the occasional rampage. Boating missions could be frustrating like when you have to take sharp turns and hit a checkpoint on a narrow ramp. I also wanted an expansion of the map but I did enjoy it as is and liked how well the map was utilized compared to others like San Andreas where they were trying to create the biggest map possible. Like there was a lot of wasted space in Los Ventures that would have been more fun if you really got the feel of an area and maybe there were a mission at the baseball stadium instead of just “oh we have a baseball stadium for no apparent reason”. In Vice City you really got to enjoy the map but the closest thing to expansion was Vice City Stories and they did some improvements especially that bridge by
Sunshine Auto that was added so you didn’t have to drive forever to the airport or Fort Baxter. We can always want more out of Vice City but it’s still one of the best.
One thing I don't like is an ad every 90seconds that you can't skip and you have to wait for 30 seconds to return to the video and then you have to rewind it because the ad cut you off in the middle of a sentence.
I played vice city when it originally came out on ps2 and loved it. I recently rebought the remastered version on PS4 and thought it aged badly and the controls were terrible however I gave it an hour and then Realised why it’s my best game of all time. Yes the controls take a while to get used to and some missions are flawed but when you get used to it it’s not overly difficult and it’s actually really fun. I even got a platinum trophy which was insanely hard and I put over 100 hours into it but I felt great when it was completed
isnt that broken disc from one of your other videos or stream cuz I remember you broke a gta vc disc on purpose
You should do 5 things players dislike about Liberty City Stories, Vice City Stories, & EFLC

@@Jremasters u don't get it
Gta vice city is the best swimming simulator
Definitely agree about the water.
Yeah, the race against Hilary is a pain in the ass.
The RC copter one is not that bad though. It's just time consuming. Nevertheless, if you take out the workers first, and then lay the first bomb on the top floor, the rest of the mission is a piece of cake.
Cops aren't that bad.
No interest in customization at all though.
I love the map, though I do agree it would have been cool to have at least had the glades in there.
My biggest annoyances besides the lack of being able to swim include the poor aiming mechanics, the lack of being able to turn the camera, and that stupid ass god damn missiong G-Spotlight. Oh my god does that mission frustrate me. Well, any mission with a time limit frustrates me, but that has got to be the worst of them all. It is the only mission that takes me many many tries before I can get it right.
Kaiju no Kami for G Spotlight just use a helicopter. It’s a far better way. You’re welcome ;)
What I don't get is. Why do people hate demolition man? And why do people find it so hard? I mean it's not that hard of a mission I believe people are making it harder than it really is? I wiz through mission like nothing. It's an easy mission. And no I'm not being sarcastic or joking I literally always hate seeing how people use it as a very hard mission when it's really not that hard at all
cant argue with that, i was strimming VC and had to do Demolition Man, i did it without dying and i suck at driving a helicoptor or plane yet i still found it easy
The two things I hated were
1: how all the cars/traffic would dissappear when you urgently need a car
2: when you're just cruising along and you find a rare obscure car but the second you get in it and drive everyone in town suddenly has that car
I seriously beat Demo Man first try on ps2
i beat it first try with a numberpad on a keyboard just barely still my greatest achievement in all my years of gaming now to do it blindfolded with a shitty ball style mouse
Top 5 problems with VC, IMO:
1) Literally nothing
2) Literally nothing
3) Literally nothing
4) Literally nothing
5) The mission where you have to save Lance is a bit difficult.
I like gta vice city but I love gta sanandreas
I dislike the fact that Sonny dies like he was nothing.
Cao Ang true! I expected a cutscene showing him dying slowly or being executed just like happened to Diaz
Tommy Vercetti can drive A car, motorcycle, tank, speedboat, and can fly a helicopter but can't swim #Gtalogic
The racing mission sure was tough and took me multiple tries on PS2, but later in my life when I played it on PC it was easy because you could alter the game's files and make Hillary's car super slow :D You could basically mod any vehicle in the game, which made for a lot of fun moments, like doing stunt jumps with ridiculously fast bikes
I agree with these, but its still the best gta game ever
yea
San Andreas
Yeah san andreas
nah
Jared Cortes what is ur favorite
The story of Vice City makes up for nearly all of the points you make. It's meant to feel like you're actually playing Scarface and Miami Vice, not to feel like a huge sandbox game which you will explore for thousands of hours. Sure you can look at this like limitations, and most probably they are, but I don't feel like I was not given enough. It's my favorite GTA game mainly because of the story and the characters. I don't mind that I can't customize the cars when I'm loving the game world and 80s style so much.

1. Aiming

5. Water and no swimming
Could name a few...
-White Men Also Can't Swim
-Not knowing how to reach the final missions
-Scavenge the hidden packages
-Having their saves corrupted from saving in the ice cream factory
-The _infamous_ "Demolition Man" mission where people just suck at driving a miniature helicopter. I laugh at this, because I just blaze through this mission as a kid.
What dislike about Vice City and its the same with San Andreas is when u die you have your weapons took off u. It make sense when u get busted but in IV and V if u die u don’t get ur weapons taken off u but in these earlier games u do. Other than that I think its a great game for its time I think the soundtrack is one of the best in GTA History and the gameplay is quite addictive too
One of the main reasons for being unable to swim in my opinion is to avoid giving too much access to the map too early; additionally, more powerful weapons are on the western island, this would give too much of an advantage to the players.
You can't swim
What animation mod did you install? Because tommy running animation look A LOT better than the original one, which I never liked at all :)
Vice City was the best !
The timed missions were a pain in the ass ! I loved everything else but now I've got it on PS4 the controls are a struggle after playing online so long ☹️
A girl friend of mine let me make out with her because I passed the remote helicopter mission for her in one try. It's true.
Sure it was a girl? There were not many girls who played vice city in that time
The one mission I absolutely hate was flying the airplane through checkpoints to drop flyers for the studio. You either ran out of fuel, hit a building and can't get back up or missed the checkpoint and had to go back which costed more time and mostly made you run out of fuel. That was so rage inducing!!
No that mission is in San Andreas not vice city
@@Monkeydude100 The one I'm talking about is for the porn studio in Vice City.
@@michellescottlillian8694 ew
Granted some of the missions are annoying but San Andreas has more annoying missions. The zero ones especially are pointless and annoying. There's only really 3 missions on Vice City I hate. San Andreas has the zero missions, and far too many pointless racing ones, but because people look at San Andreas with rose tinted glasses and believe it can do no wrong, it gets ignored. Don't get me wrong I like San Andreas, but it's negative aspects get overlooked a lot of time. Great storyline though.
Walkerman404 There is like 4 story racing missions, what do you mean lol.
Zero missions are optional too. And piss easy if you aren’t spastic.
Imawesome I said it was pointless not hard.
I hate the racing missions, and a lot of flying missions, but I love love love San Andreas. Ha
Mandy Caz don't get me wrong I like San Andreas, great storyline, characters are excellent, the game as a whole is brilliant, but sometimes criticism people throw at other games can apply to San Andreas, but people overlook it.
The reason is because in San Andreas, there's a lot more to do so people overlook the annoying missions, as opposed to Vice City which has less things to do, hence making the annoying missions more prominent.
The thing I really hate about Vice City is that Tommy can't swim , if you have 150 health and you pick up a heart your health goes back to 100 , Driver mission is absolutely pointless because Hilary dies in the mission The Job , having to do drunk driving on Boomshine Saigon , the detonation meter on the mission Publicity Tour , map too small , Ken Rosenburgs constant whining and complaining .
When ya gonna go live again zac...i always love your live streams
Before watching...
-Not being able to swim. There are hidden packages in parts of the ocean and not being able to swim makes some of them hard to get.
-Gun Runner. I despise that mission.
-RC Raider Pickup. I despise that side mission. Its in the airport, to activate it go inside the Top Fun van. You fly an RC helicopter that’s controls are much more broken than in Demolition Man.
-On PS2, not being able to aim with Sniper Rifle, Kruger and Rocket Launcher. Thankfully its fixed in the PC version.
-Pole Position Club. Its boring sitting in a strip club for 5 minutes in a video game. In real life, it would be great, but this is a video game.
5. The game wasnt built around swimming. Even if you could, there is nowhere to swim to. You would gain nothing from being able to swim.
4. Hard missions are bad because they wont let you win automaticly? It's a game, isnt that a good thing? I for one am glad they experiemented with the missions and sprinkled a few challenging ones in there. The race one isnt that hard, spin the fucker out and boom you won. The helicopter one? It was hard on the ps2 due to controls, it's cakewalk on the PC version.
3. Cops are the problem now? Jesus Christ... It's a GTA game. It's not hard to avoid them if you just want to focus on getting to your mission. This is not an actual problem anyone actually has.
2. Yes. You are nitpicking like a child. The technology just wasnt there. It's like complaining about how Super Mario on NES didn't let you customize your characters. Pointless.
1. Again, technology and focus wasnt there to create a large map. GTA V is a massive map but it's empty, there's nothing to do in the singleplayer. A smaller, more focused map did just fine, as we see in GTA VC and San Andreas.
hi
ULTRAGAMER TV Eh what's up bro
Not having special cars isn't a GTA problem, the game is from 2002 FFS, no other game had that, honestly. My maisn problem with this game is not being able to swim - it's still my favourite game from the franchise.

Gotta get that 50 cents per view. Make sure to do your taxes by the end of the year
I remember doing the mission (I forgot the name) where Tommy sat in a van maneuvering a tiny helicopter to set bombs and bring down a building. That was probably one of the worse mission I'd ever done in my life, and after 34 times trying (that's right, 34) I just raged quit. My friend cleared it for me but that was horrible.
That was the mission he was talking about, Demolition man
I dislike how it’s now on PS4 and not Xbox one!
2.8K likes, you are close to 3K!!
I met more than one person that started playing this game and thought it was pretty cool but gave up on it when they got to Demolition Man. The missions before that one are pretty tame, nothing too hard, but suddenly you get this mission with this RC helicopter with really finicky controls and yeah, it gets really frustrating when you try and try again to place the bombs but you're slightly off place and you have to pick the bomb up again and you are crashing all over the place and destroy the helicopter.
8:23 OOF that didn't age well lol!
Was looking for this comment xD the remasters take a step back for each improvement... I would even say there are more downgrades than upgrades. We need a proper remake with updated mechanics and everything remade from the ground up.
Since I'm playing it yet again. Your 5
1) Swim - Never bothered me, better than stupid swimming missions
2) Missions - Mentioned ones are fine, driver is tough but hey you need tough levels. The boat ones suck though because they handle so badly
3) Cops - mildly annoying, but it's the ridiculous aggression that gets me...although not as bad as in Driver (the game)
4) Customisation - Didn't care that much and the cloths at different locations are also 2 star fixers so that's great. GTA SA went too far, you had to do that stuff to complete it which really sucks.
5) Map size - Thought it was perfect, unlike 3 and especially SA which both have basically unused areas which just make travelling longer. Big enough to be enjoyable without being a pain to cross.
No can't think of anything else that's an issue.so
1) Very few missions, mostly boats and maybe RCs although not the supper easy helicopter ones
2) Over aggressive cops
3) Even then a placeable check point on the map would have been good.
Zac doesn’t have the balls to pin this
I guess he doesn't
I love the game, my downside is the lack of strip clubs and swimming.
There is one step club
"You can't swim in GTA Vice city"
*Shows footage of Tommy swimming*
Taiko it's a mod.
My least favorite thing about vice city is that I have to play on pc, where one of the missions is glitched so you can’t progress through the game, and rockstar stopped updating the game
Demolition Man is the mission that took me the greatest effort to pass in all GTA games I've played. What a fuckin' mission!
The missions you call way too hard, I highly enjoyed as a 12 year old kid and still do. Vice City was pure gold for its era
The graphics and controls are ass that’s why I’ve never fully played the game I could only just handle the remastered san andreas
I’m talking about on the Xbox 360 when you play the Xbox version through backwards compatibility it’s just unplayable
Graphics? So you also dislike gta 3 too then?... it's even WORSE than gta vc
The cars look terrible though. In gta3 atleast we had modern looking cars like stinger and banshee.
In vc the designs are not so good.
AV Gamer Vice City takes place in the 1980’s. Keep that in mind.
If you dislike the early 2000s graphics you haven't seen the mid 1990s games with the pixels that melts your eyes. I still think VC looks pretty nice to me. People today are used to HD graphics and does not want to play the older classics. The gaming is not all about graphics. It is the mechanics, storylines and immersion.
-I never liked the races in any of the GTA games. I hate how you have to hit checkpoints, but if you miss them by an inch, you have to turn around and pass through them again.
-When you die during a mission, not only do you fail, but you have to get weapons/armor again and drive all the way to where the mission began just to restart. (Which was in all GTA games except 5)
-The Haitian gang member constantly trying to kill you, even though you did work for them.
-Doing 100 taxi fares. Real easy, but takes over an hour. And if a Haitian gang member pulls you out of the car, even for 1 second, it ends the damn mission.
-Helicopter controls, especially for PC
-The heist set ups made no sense. So you need a getaway driver, but the driver will only work for you if you beat him in a race? Shouldn't it be the other way around? I might as well be the getaway driver (Which in the end, you are). Recruiting Cassidy is also stupid, same thing, you have to beat him in a shooting contest in order for him to work for you? Cassidy should have to beat you at the shooting range in order to be recruited. Ughh dumb.
Great game tho, just a few nit picks.
Tommy was in prison for 15 years. That’s why he can’t swim. If you don’t do something for 15 years chances are you can’t do it anymore.
J.J. drunk?
When I had GTA VC completely new, the RC helicopter was the first time I got in contact with heli controls (GTA 3 didn't have them, and in VC you only get access to helis much later), so it took me ages to pass that mission. Nowadays it's simple because of all the flying experience from multiple playthroughs of VC and SA. Now the driver mission is something totally different I still fail that occasionally even today. It's the only race you can call challenging.
I still don't understand why we can't swim in vice city. It couldn't have been Technical limitations because (2001) jak and daxter had a massive world around vice city size, and jak could swim perfectly fine
Tradition may have also been a factor. In all of the older games, the protagonist could not swim. The water served as a barrier for keeping players from exploring areas they were only meant to visit later in the game.
thay rc helicopter mission never bothered me. The first time I failed to finish it in my first try but nailed it every time afterwards. during the race with hillary I used to activate the flying car cheat and most of the times hillary would get stuck into something and if not I used to deactivate the cheat after gaining a bit of distance. The hardest missions were actually on gta 3. the coffe shop mission and the phone mission. Though played gta 3, vice city and san andreas on my phone not long ago and found out the games are pretty easy. Maybe the thing is that when gta 3 rolled out I was only 10 years old.
I have always been a pc gamer and maybe that's why the controls felt easier for me.
Vice City is much more worst than Liberty City from the GTA 3. And the system with businesses was a real disaster.
y'all remember that mission where you have to control that drone in a building site? hate that one for sure
Me 2
That mission legit made me want to kill everyone

ZacCox: In Vice City, you can't swim
Tommy: *swims while Zac says that.*
Me: BOI! 👋👋😑
Back then games was focused on campaign
Thank you! Vice City is my favorite gta game ever. Tommy vercetti was the greatest character to play as, and the vibe in Vice City was always lit..good times
Well, Vice City had some brutal missions scattered even in the main questline. The driver is one example, the other very annoying missions being the hydroplane flying (film studio) and the boat checkpoint race (boatyard). This was most annoying. I don't mind difficult missions to get 100% score such as driving school in San Andreas (getting 100% gold was almost impossible to do), but having these in main storyline is just not fun.
I beat The Driver mission only after editing handling.cfg, reduced this sabre turbo to almost zero speed :D
Yeah, The Driver mission was annoying and what's even worse is that Hilary ends up dying the Heist mission anyway, so racing him seems pointless. As for the cops, I feel like they are always generally incompetent except for Gta 4 where they actually help sometimes. I don't like how in GTA 5 it's actually harder to get rid of the cops even when you only have one star and how you can kill civilians with a single punch, I want them to give me a real fist fight like in the 3D universe.
The only thing I hate about vice city is the lack of missions and how easy the missions are in this game. I could complete this entire game in the less than 24 hours if I tried.
Hey, Zac!!! This is my opinion of things that I don't like about GTA Vice City!!!
1. Tommy still can't swim, can't crouch while walking (GTA SA had it!!!) and can't climbing objects!!!
2. Can't waypoint map and no money cheat!!!
3. Health run out so quickly if you doing 6 star wanted level rampage, FBI and S.W.A.T Team kill you in a matter of second and you are dead!!!
4. Lack of extend clothes customize like GTA SA!!! (GTA VC only had few outfit customize!!!) and no car customize!!!
5. Can't play basketball, can't playing video games machine like GTA SA and can't use drinking machine!!!
6. No Florida Keys and Swamp area!!! (I hope GTA 6 had it!!!)
7. Mouse not working (Win 10) while playing GTA VC for first time, you need to install Silent Patch to be able playing GTA VC with mouse working!!!
8. Playing GTA VC in my gaming laptop had game breaking bug and glitches because FPS is too high (more than +60 FPS) so i cap GTA VC to normal 60 FPS by using Rivatuner to fix game breaking bug and glitches issue!!!
The Driver mission is pretty easy for me. Maybe I always drive Sentinel that makes the mission so easy to beat.
Tumble up if u love vice city
Here is what i hate about GTA Vice City:
1. You can't swim
2. You can't save your clothes in your safehouse
3. Some of the missions plot are stupid thus making no sense
4. Cars explode when they are falls on their roof
5. Aiming is too uncomfortable in PC version
6. The game itself is not optimized for modern Windows systems, thus giving you are Unhandeled Exception error
7. You need to find those stupid statues to have 100% completion of the game with Hunter chopper on Ocean Beach. Like, come on! I beat the game so give me that god damn chopper already as my reward!
8. There is too many places where there is not enough details or extra buildings to make Vice City more detailed
9. And finally, that you can't put your textures properly when making custom skin fro PC version of the game for protagonist, because it uses the same texture of the shirt for the front side of the body, for the back side and for the arms. And that is just stupid! Sure, i made some cool skins but seriously, Rockstar could make a better model or make few different textures for back, front and arms parts of Tommy's body, like they did with protagonist in GTA 3.
And yes, i like missions in GTA Vice City cause, in comparison to GTA 3, they are like walk in the park!
My headcanon is that Tommy Vercetti can’t swim in the ocean because of Red Tide (water contamination that I know about bc I live in Florida). There are certain other places with water in them (pools, ponds, etc) where Tommy can swim just fine.
Tommy and Tony from liberty city stories those two guys both can't swim and climb walls but Carl Johnson can but there is sharks in both GTA games
Swimming could have been a major feature in Vice City. It's based on Miami, the theme is mostly aquatic, it has a big, BIG beach and people are wearing SWIMSUITS. I don't see any proper reason why Rockstar wouldn't include it. They could have worked on it and I'm pretty sure it's just an easy task for them.
Ngl the rc helicoptor mission
With the bombs i did it 1st try no problem lol
You forgot about one important thing - PC version has a lot of removed stuff compared to PS2 - worse neon lights, missing numerous details on buildings or even lack of animation when Tommy just stays. Not to mention that we don't have tear gas on PC version. And Rockstar just decided to remove this stuff for no reason even if computers were much stronger than consoles...
Unpopular opinion: cop land is much harder than demolition man
I agree, I got demolition man first try, but cop land took me about five times.
The sentinel is not a "slow" car, just not the ideal car to race a Sabre Turbo in. The RC helicopter mission becomes much easier when you think to start from the top of the building and work your way down. Cops suck always in every GTA game period lol. When Vice City came out the idea of customizing cars was just a fantasy, so what we had was fine at the time. Vice City is not my favorite map in the GTA series. It's pretty, it was a nice refreshing and vivid change from the GTA3 map, it was loads of fun, but I'm sorry, GTASA takes the cake for me, followed closely by GTAV. Besides, I didn't care too much for the 80's timeline in Vice City. Making the Banshee a mock-Corvette instead of the (obviously non-existent at the time) Dodge Viper like it was in GTA3? Nah fam... Just leave the Banshee name out all together, this would have been a good time to bring the Coquette name into the series.
you forgot easter egg of little statue of ricardo diaz with concrete block on his legs.
I hated how flat the map was. Now, that's just them being true to the location, Florida isn't known for its rolling hills and snow-capped mountains, but driving through a hilly part of town at 100mph is SO much fun in these games.
The loading screen between city’s going across the bridges or flying a heli
Demolition man was on that I found easy. Driver was the worst. I felt so awesome when I finally passed it. The worst thing about that mission is that Hillary ends up being a throw away character anyway. You need him for the job and he ends up being completely worthless.
It would of be great if Tommy Vercerti was the main character in GTA Vice City Stories
Yes! He Is my favorite character out of every Theft Auto game and I pray to God they bring him back and make another Vice City
The very first thing I did when I bought the PS4 version of the trilogy .. I Started with Vice City .. I immediately went to the Malibu Club and I was sooo dissapointed.. NOTHING at all changed .. you had exactly the same 25 dansers in that club ., left side that same biker / cop / soldier .. I was like really 😩 ?! .. That trilogy what a total bust .. I didn’t even bother to play gta 3 again .. i checked out San Andreas briefly .. fff .. And that was it .. What a waste of money 😏
