Just walked into the duty free shop in Seoul. Been looking for a Patek Phillip that certain shape. Saw the multofort with the green face and metal band and bought it instantly. Mido is a lesser known brand outside of Switzerland but the quality is there.
Glad you did this deal, because what you get for this money is amazing. I have heard the comparison of Patek Design and this one many times, but only few know that the Mido TV Desing was created 1973 few years before the Nautilus...

Patek Philippe Nautilus in a very cheap price, I bought it. I think a brand with such an old history this price is very low, so I recommend no one to miss this style and buy it soon

Date wheel suddenly stucked on date of 27th..bought only for 5 months and the defects as commented by many finally happened to the watch..so disappointed. Now under warranty service and has not been returned for almost 2 months😢
Hi Leon, sorry to hear about that. Yes, unfortunately this has been an issue for the first series of this model. What Mido told us is, they have updated the mechanic of the date function for future series. Let me know if we can help in any way 🙏
Great video! I'm awaiting my tv big date and I was wondering if the issues with the date wheels misbehaving have been addressed by factory? Any updates would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Hi there, we have had the news that MIDO indeed has recognized this issue - even though it is a very very small possibility that this could happen compared to the amount of pieces sold. In this regard, if this issue should occure you can at any time bring back the watch & they will replace some parts neessary for the date window to work perfectly :)

When I first saw the watch in orange/black, I had to have it. I have never bought a watch so quickly and without thinking. The price is too good for the watch. By the way, Patek got the style from Mido and not the other way around!

It would be cool if there was also a GMT hand variant in this case design
very interesting to see the feedbacks in the comment sections - some do not even want a date, others want a tourbillon - know i can only imagine what a struggle it is for the brand to come up with a good watch 😂
@@LesAmbassadeurs-Watches I only buy watches with a date, or even day/date. As far as GMT, I don't have one, but I do travel a lot across multiple time zones and am now hunting for a traveler's GMT. Also, this watch remi ds me of the old Soviet Slava "television" watch from the 1970-s

yes indeed, what i have heard so far is that there will be a black rubber strap for this one as well...
Any plans for downsizing the case to 35mm?

How come every video I see of this watch it's always the blue dial. No love for the green dial anywhere. Is it just not popular or is it not a good implementation of vintage green, like the GO?
Probably because blue is a more "common" color and a more "lean back" choice. Nevertheless, in 2023 many watch brands introduced new models with a green dial. Eventually, it is all about preferences and has nothing to do with love or hate :) personally i struggled a lot to choose a color within this Mido collections since they all look amazing.

Does the orange bracelet go well with the blue dial? I like the orange bracelet and the blue dial 😕
I think best combo is orange - blue & orange & black. If you wear the orange strap on the green one this probably will be too much :) but eventually there is no such thing as a fashion police - mainthing you feel comfortable.

Hello Kevin, we received this question before but no complains so far.
Yes, the "date" got stuck in less than a month. I have seen several complaints on the web. My suggestion is avoid Big "date".
After 2 months of buying my watch, the date window was stuck. I took it in for warranty and had to wait 3 to 6 months. 😢

Be careful!!!☝🏽 First of all, i was overwhelmed by this watch, the dial is incredible! but there is one problem with the dial, they have a lot of errors! i had to bring back two of them! the third one was ok!
What kind of errors ?
@@fungus70 White shining points on the dial. and scratches on the dial! In some reviews you can see them too. also on the glas i have 2 scratches after 3 weeks! thats unacceptable!!!
You know that you can scratch sapphire glas? Sapphire is not the hardest material on the scale...
Regarding the Dial, this is the first feedback of this kind. Yes, we had some feedbacks regarding the date but never any issues with the dial.

The Nautilus came out in 1976!?!?! So this isn't a copy of their design?

A more slimlined version would be great. That crown guard is sooo ugly

Too bad its 48 mm lug to lug, when will watch makers learn that people want smaller lug to lugs
I think regardless of the size, no brand will ever be able to please all clients. Because, when it comes to the size some people say they find above 38mm everthing too big, while others find everything below 40mm too small. In this case, since this collection is doing well, it might get an update with a smaller case size - we will see :)
@@LesAmbassadeurs-Watches Well, now you are speaking about case diameter, which is not nearly as important as lug to lug. you can have a watch have both 38 and 40 mm but with lug to lug of ounder 46mm

Yes! My watch was purchased 2 months ago and had to be returned for warranty. Actually, this watch's date window has a problem 😢
A no date version would be great.
This is a good point even though i like how the date moves. I think alrrady the date position for example at 3 or 6 o'clock would make a big difference.
😮 A big date function is a thing of beauty! Hard to find at this price point. I got the blue dial with blue rubber and a spare orange strap. It's a fabulous quality watch.

@@LesAmbassadeurs-Watches everyone loves it that I've shown. I honestly get as much pleasure out of wearing this as my watches that cost many times more. I even took a video on my phone of me manually changing the date so I could watch the dual date dials snap into place. Yes, I know, pretty sad, 🙂
