The stylish and practical Multifort TV Big Date by Mido effortlessly combines vintage 1970s appeal with modern watchmaking. Over the past couple of years, the luxury sports watch segment blew up in popularity. Fueled by a demand for seemingly impossible-to-get watches like the Royal Oak and the Nautilus, people started to look elsewhere. Multiple brands and even some independent watchmakers presented their own spin on the concept, resulting in a wide range of new models, including this one... The cool, accessible and original Mido Multifort TV Big Date.

Got one, but i ordered the bracelet after getting it with the rubber strap. I feel it looks a lot better with a bracelet.
This MIDO seems like an interesting option, it gives off vibes reminiscent of a Piaget Polo. Hopefully, more brands will continue to take risks with innovative proposals.
Warms greetings from Paraguay! 🇵🇾
What a beauty. Mido often fly under the radar, but I hope more now notice them after this release. Great video, nicely shot, to the point, and not too long 👏🏼
Thanks for the feedback, and it is indeed a surprisingly good watch! It certainly caught the attention from a lot of people when released.
Looks much bigger than 39mm … guess I’ll have to see in person
are the big dates still having the same old stuck-date issue?
The price is right...to big for me but nice.
0:50 Can u tell me how big the wrist is? Kind regards!
About 17.5cm !
@@Monochrome-watchesthank u !
I wonder if the big date is reliable or not .
Why wouldn't it be?
There have been issues with the disks sticking and not working at all.@Monochrome-watches
Well noted but those problems have been fixed by Mido
Would you swim with this watch?
It’s 100m water-resistant and there’s a screw-down crown so it’s all safe for swimming.
Another Nautilus copy....
Mido had the TV style case BEFORE Patek, not after. Patek did the homage from Mido, not the other way around.
Gentlemen, this reminds me of that age old question, who was first, the chicken or the egg? Regardless, the Nautilus case shape is of a ship’s porthole, not that of a television. I rather like this MIDO. There, that settles it=:-)
Well, as some have already pointed out, not everything is a copy of others. But then again, the 1970s was a time where plenty of similar styling elements can be traced back to. To us, it's not always a question of who did what first, and things can co-exist alonside each other. And put side by side, the two are miles apart even though they might share some common elements such as the fact the dial is blue and both have a square-ish shaped cases. Just our two cents ;)
Wow, had no idea that Mido Multifort TV, (TV-shaped inspired case), was first introduced in 1973 and this was three years before the Patek Philippe Nautilus was designed in 1976. But yeah, they resemble each other but have different inspiration sources.
Wrong. Mido was first.
