Looks nice, but it would've made more sense to leave one direction untouched and use 3 (or 2) of the 6 lanes for traffic in the opposite direction. They'd never remove asphalt at both sides of the highway simultaneously.
They'd never remove any asphalt from even one side, unless if it's burst pipes or something where they need to get underground, but still then, they'd only remove then replace where the for example burst pipe is.
All that effort. Made us sit through the whole video and doesn't even let it run for a minute or so at the end to let us see how things looked! Thanks for the waste of time.
In the UK they do cones and no temporary road markings. They use only cones for diverting on the road with the road works. But things like where you have the temporarily less lane road they have concrete blocks sometimes, most of the time still cones though.
Hey. Just to accommodate the traffic needs as the city grows the more traffic there is, so I do not have to redo it all the time, rather use a big road from the beginning. 2 lane would be too little considering the slip lanes and highway connections.
No, 2 sucks. I prefer 1 way more than 2 because 1 gives me the ability to get assets that let me make my city exactly how I want it. CS2 doesn't have any custom assets at all. Wanna make realistic freeway signs? Nope! Wanna place an actual grocery store instead of many tiny ones? Nope! Wanna make a realistic road construction site like in the video? NOPE! Cities Skylines 2 has NOTHING making it better than the original. The mods, the assets, all of the customization... NONE of what made 1 great is in 2. And also, performance. My computer can barely even run 2! Yet even with 3500 assets on cs1, it still runs fine on a PC with just a 1050 ti in it.
@@itzme8763 Agreed. I enjoy the realism in detailing so until creators like Smilies, Spence, King Leno, DieHardHunter and others begin making assets for CS2 I have no desire to buy it. It may take awhile but I never heard of the first Cities Skylines until about 3 years ago when I accidentally stumbled upon it.
@@FriedShrimpPoBoy I still play cs2 though because of the realistic graphics and the mods are starting to get better, we also started seeing some assets but not as much as cs1
If you extended that for a couple more miles, it would like driving in Pennsylvania.
🤣🤣

You are right, thank you for the suggestion 🙏🏽

Some nice ideas here, but for added realism I'd suggest at looking some satellite imagery of paving jobs for how they do lane closures and management.
Thank you 🙏🏽
if you use the intersection marking tool to place the barriers, it would not add to the node count

Hello.
Makes sense what you are saying, sorry for that. I’m new to this, and still learning. Will do that for the future videos. Thank you
Just remember folks this guys pc probably caught fire while he was building this.
Any pc can handle this

Thank you!
why do you have a 6 lane highway, why not a 3 or 2 lanes in each direction?

Ah yes, I love creating made up traffic jams for no reason too. Ducking my cims lol

Oh and apparently you don't like mods? Then just click off the video. If you don't like it, click off.
i cant make a realistic walmart area in cs 2 (yet) the graphics are good but the options arent
