    Hi Sir! Did you add out riggers to your canoe? That would help with storage.

      No, we never did that. We ended up selling that boat and buying the sailboat that we still currently live on full time.

    is she always this surely or just not looking forward to the mosquitoes and no-see-ums? still a big sweetheart at night though, u like her smiles. you missed the island raccoon scavengers. second time watching, still subscribed. any news on beached sailboat?

      To answer your question, yes lol. She is pretty vocal and we call her the fun police because anytime someone is playing she runs over and breaks it up. But she is really just a big baby. It does appear that they did keep the raccoons away though. On our next video when we were just out fishing we actually saw that same abandoned sailboat several miles from where it was before. Not sure how it got there but it was still half sunk in a different area. Thank you for watching, we are actually going up to Maryland for a 4 day sailing school later this month with the end goal of getting a sailboat to do some extensive traveling. We will do a video of our experience with the school so it should be fun.

    Do you need reservations for youth to go and camping there at new smyrna

    • @ChasingFreedom8
      @ChasingFreedom8  Год назад

      Honestly, it isn’t really a formal camp sight so I don’t think there is a way to make a reservation at that particular island. But I have heard that there are other similar locations where you can make a reservation. I would think that someone with Volusia County government could advise on that.

    Every time I go down places are covers with sand flees lol. When is the best time to avoid these?

      Accept for the coder months they seem to be there all the time, but only for about an hour or so at dusk. I think the fire helped a lot thought.

    Do you need to get a permit to camp overnight like this?

    • @ChasingFreedom8
      @ChasingFreedom8  2 года назад +1

      From what I understand there are some islands and sights that are more established that are reserved through the county but there appear to be a lot of areas like this where people just find a spot and camp. We saw others doing the same thing.
