An introduction to Das Rheingold which uses loge’s theme from Walkure. Makes sense…
Thanks for your comment! We'd have loved to use an excerpt of Loge's leitmotif from Das Rheingold! Unfortunately, most instances of Loge's leitmotif in this opera coincide with some singing. We hence used Loge's leitmotif from Die Walküre as it was the most appropriate instance of his leitmotif to be used as background music. We hope you enjoy the video nonetheless!
An acute observation! However, did you notice that Loge's Walküre motif appears to have been manipulated to go in a nice chromatic ascending order? It also seems that a handful of the other leitmotifs they used have been altered from the original keys they appear in. Perhaps some self-education is in order, for your proceeding commenting endeavours! I, for one, think this was a wonderful job! ☺️☺️☺️
It's useless to be so strict in these kind of creations, btw if you are so expert and know the opera this video is not really for you
