Thank you for sharing your beginning market experience. I just completed my first market last weekend and I'm currently in the crying phase. Good to know you had a similar experience and still became successful.
What do you use to scan your items when customers are checking out? Placing barcodes on every item I’m sure it’s time consuming on the front end but it looks like it saves you a lot of time while checking out customers.
I have a card reader! It’s the Shopify Pro Go card reader. It’s not too time consuming but definitely makes my checkout experience faster & easier for me to keep track of all my inventory!
Winter is definitely a busy time for markets because it’s close to the holidays! I don’t do markets the weekend before Christmas up until around the end of April! Honestly, there’s not that many events happening during that time frame! Events start up in spring and last until Christmas time 🥰
I’m just going to stick with my racks! After testing it out I’m worried it’ll damage the frame of my canopy with all of the weight. A lot of vendor friends messaged me and said this happened to them. I realized too that having the racks will speed up my set up/ tear down. This is a great suggestion! I think these would work for vendors who sell plants, tote bags & lighter items
I’m worried about the frame of my tent breaking if I kept the bar & hung up clothing on it. I had a few vendor friends reach out to me saying the frame of their tent broke from doing this. Tents are super expensive too 🥲 I was thinking that the racks would actually be faster when it comes to the loading & unloading process which is always a plus!
I have them linked on my Amazon storefront as well as the cable ties! If you have heavier items I don’t recommend using them but if your products are lighter they should work out great!
I love the behind-the-scenes! Seeing embroidery machines warms my heart. It’s such a lost art to work with THREAD!
This was the perfect video to watch while market prepping! Loving the long form content
I love that (and love the kitty in your profile picture hehe)!!
So proud of you!!! Dreaming about those birria tacos! 😊❤
I could totally see parker opening up a food truck 🚐 he would be SO GOOD at it! 🌮

Great video with lots of great tips! 🎉 Can you make a video on how to create and print out the bar codes from Shopify?
I definitely can!! It’s super easy to do & free 🫶🏼
Do you use the Shopify hardware?
@@shameka8666 yes! I highly recommend it if you’re using Shopify :) I talk a bit more about this in my market day vlog (before this video)! :)
@@shameka8666 I have the POS card reader.
Does it have the card reader embedded like the square stand. Let me watch the other video.

Friend can you tell me more about the winter season for markets! How many months you go without going to markets during the snow season!

You could try hanging the bars from over the door wreath hangers?

Thank you for watching!! :)
Your tent seems big. Is it a 10 x 10 or bigger?
What size is your banner?? I love it
1x9 :)
Do you make everything yourself?
I wonder if you could prop up the shelf in the middle so it doesn’t fall, since it’s so heavy

What is the material on your wholesale cups???
We work with a company that specializes in glassware. All of our cups are professionally printed using ink making them dishwasher safe! :)
Hi, where did you get those poles from that you installed to your canopy?
I have them linked on my Amazon storefront as well as the cable ties! If you have heavier items I don’t recommend using them but if your products are lighter they should work out great!
@emilypaigecompany ok! I will go back and look again. Because I looked before asking. I have tshirts and tote bags. Thank you. I will look for sure.
You rent that space’?
Yes
