  • Taylormade Qi10 LS Driver Forgiveness Review and this is my personal choice of the 3 models that Taylormade have released for 2024. The Qi10 LS will give faster swing speed golfers, or at least golfers that are looking to reduce their backspin profile a little. It will be the least forgiving of all the 3 models, but as I show in the Forgiveness side of the video, it actually does quite well.

The adjustable weight is very forward in the head. I have this exact shaft in a TSR3 10 degree, so it was good to see someone test it with more swing speed than my 100 MPH.

The adjustable weight is confusing to me. I tend to slice right. What adjustment should I make?

If you tend to slice it rather than fade there won't be a setting that will remove the curvature. If you had a fade then moving it into the heel would possibly allow the head to rotate a touch more into impact squaring it up or at least move the horizontal CG a touch more heel biased to gain a bit more draw gearing to the ball.
If you have a substantially open face to path resulting in a slice, then I would suggest a few lessons to rectify the incorrect face alignment 👍🏻

Great content jay as we are becoming accustomed too. Honestly can’t see anything replacing my tsr3 unless it cracks just the most consistent driver i have ever owned. It’s love ❤️ 😂

Did a driver fitting today and was kinda shocked by the findings. Current gamer is a G425 LST. Average club head speed was 121mph my attack angle is usually only 1-2 degrees up (sometimes even down)
After trying all the “new” release drivers the only one that was actually better FOR ME was the QiLS.
It was consistently 2-3 mph faster in club head speed and averaged less than 5 yards further. Dispersion wasn’t a major improvement either.
If I had infinite money to throw at golf then maybe it’d be worth the $600+ dollars for QiLS but as a weekend warrior I’ll be sticking with my G425 LST. Even the fitter agreed it wasn’t worth the money to upgrade. Guess I was expecting more “improvements”.
But for finding fairways the G430 10k was awesome. That thing does magic even when struck on the low heel.

I went to a Taylormade demo fitting event and got fittet into Qi10 LS 9 deg set to 8.25 deg with the Tensei Blue Limited 65X. To be a low spin driver it is very forgiving.
My avg data from 5 shots at the demo fitting event using GC Quad.
    Club Speed: 118.6 mph.
    Ball speed: 172,2 mph.
    Spin: 2153 rpm.
    Carry: 307 yards.
    Total: 331 yards.

Interesting that Rory doesn't use this model. I guess when you hit it as far as he does a little spin won't hurt you.. I play the Ping 425 LS, which I find to be plenty forgiving and I prefer it's shape to the MAX version.

Love the look of the Qi drivers. My concern is; even though I am a decent ball striker (I use a Paradym TD 8 deg), can you say it with me...SKY MARKS!!

LS has the same g-cm^2 as the Stealth 2 + at 7600

The gear effect works pretty well considering the MOI number. Not as helpful as the other 2 models but then that's not really surprising 😊😊

What loft did you use in the LS?

    • @AskGolfNut
      @AskGolfNut  7 месяцев назад

9 degrees, both Qi10 Drivers tested we down at the same loft 👍🏻

can you pick a hole where there's no tree right in line with your target? thank you!

Would it be better to do the review on the Foresight Range where there are no obstacles at all in the way?
In golf I can think of more holes than I have fingers and toes that have obstacles in the way. I thought playing this type of hole adds to the realism of the test? 🤷👍🏻
