I'm not sure anyone wasn't expecting a nerf to Chaos Breaker of some kind, but yeah this seems like a bit much. Not sure what a more intermediate nerf could have been, possibly moving the Soul Blast cost to the ACT skill to only cost SB and discards.
Could make it 1/Turn CB1 to Lock a front row and on your turn, 1/Turn SB1 to retire a previously locked card, then draw 2. Your opponent gets to keep their board and you get your draw power without needing to sell your first born for counterblast

Guys, why should chaos have acces to his original busted skill, that with zero mechanic is a guard restrict on top, for the same cost? If he was unrestricted, I'm sure the game would have become even LESS diverse. Now reverse decks at least have a chance to exist.
@@starbound100 Well the issues isn’t the change to chaos breaker, the issue is that they nerf unicorn before cbd reveal so it like why did they nert unicorn if cbd is gonna be nerf so lj required more counter blast then the original(yes chaos being unstoppable shouldn’t happen twice but they could have nerf lj better then they did.)
They could have done better at nerfing Chaos. They could still buff if somehow we riot enough that the devs can hear it but I don’t ever see that happening. (Pretty yikes for Link Joker fans and also me saving up a lot of crafting materials for a clan that is already underwhelming.)
@@darkfluid5004 I mean, I guess that in hindsight they could have left unicorn alone. My only guess is that they didn't want to deal with a card that could potentially lock 2 front rows without setup (chaos plus unicorn, as opposed to say chaos and zero, that requires setting up a breakride turn beforehand)
The fact that the clan doesn’t draw all that much already and having it discard 2 cards is an over nerf. You are already sacrificing 2 draws at best (Infinity zero to ride and chaos) and you are gonna be begging to go second and hit those draws and not draw into one of those 7’s.
And also since it relies so much in getting resources, you won’t probably have the time since all of the clans so far that is popular likes to overly be aggressive as possible.

They did him as dirty as he did to reverse decks in the tcg. I can't say that I'm sad, but I can understand the feeling of defeat from recieving booty support.

They could have given CBD a hard OPT on the retire, making it cost 1 SB to Draw 2 retiring only 1 unit. That way it retains some decent draw power and while weaker than the original, it's faaaar better than THIS!

Why Would you Use Daiyusha Reverse when you can use Zeal, It feels like Daiyusha is a poor mans Zeal
Zeal - CB 2 and your opponent loses -1k For each of your units + Personal Blast And have 1 of your opponents lose 5k
Which means you're dealing 11k to One of your opponents units Plus 5k to every other unit
Where as Daiyusha Reverse you're CB 1 To Lock 2 of your boosters to have one of your opponents units lose -10k
as for Daikaiser that's a problematic card

even CBD's LB skill is once per turn since there is no option to reactivate it again. At the start of the turn, it went from CBD to Palladium and then the draw phase. I can't say I'm not pleased when I played Reverse decks.
Why no keep the soul blast?, i mean there is not that many soulcharges, damn...

So looks like a new DP gameplan for zero is keep opponent at 3, and breakride a Daiyusha to swing lethal. And if that doesn't work, ride another Daikaiser and use Goyusha for the second rng swing. This is also why I ran Goyusha in the tcg ;)

Hey should I save my RRR ticket for set 12 or 14? I want to build revengers, but at the same time I want to build tetra/transcore and a daikaiser deck.
Revengers will stay good for a while especially since they'll get legion support, but set 14 has some good decks as well. So it's just depends on if you think it's worth it for the future.

Idk, sincerely it's indeed a strong nerf but a very needed one, don't forget you will V lock your opponent and them the next turn he will take another 3 damage on the vanguard bc his other grade 2 is locked and the other was retired, and the opp will lose ANOTHER TURN retiring only your grades 2 bc he only have 2 attacks, you will not take damage at all for 2 turns (depending on the deck your opponent is using), they will be good nevertheless
Yeah i agree, the nerf is actually quite balance as people do not guard using cards from hand in this game. Therefore the pressure is still the same. CBD in zero is more in offensive compare to the defensive playstyle in the real tgc.
Yea I agree not to mention you have colony maker to count as resource gain so its not as bad as

I was wondering they would do for clan events considering there’s 4 sets to go and only 3 clans (murakumo wave 2, neo nectar and mega colony). A reverse event is a good call. And the timing makes sense too since the next event clan should come from Bt14 which means Quintet Walls and it would be weird to debut Quintets (whatever they become in Zero) in a clan event before they are in the gacha.
What cards from blau can we expect? Are they good? I love my blaus deck but don't have the break ride, so seeing this I want to start saving up materials for nova.
The one they revealed in the image is a cross ride with stern with the ability:LB4 CB 2 & Choose two «Nova Grappler from your hand, and discard them] When your vanguard or rear-guard with "Blau" in its card name's attack hits a vanguard, you may pay the cost. If you do, stand all of your units in the same column as this unit. This ability cannot be used for the rest of that turn. (Even if you do not pay the cost this ability cannot be used for the rest of that turn)

As someone who never played the the real life card game, I think CBD’s LB effect is still pretty good. Can easily just use its effect twice to retire multiple intercepts and get 2 draws, that will win you games for sure. I feel like DP will be a high rolly deck, but it always is basically lol. It’ll be incredibly fun to play
The issues is they made lj required so much more to use their effects then the original, yes the original was broken but they could neft it better then they did,oh no count Chargers
@@darkfluid5004 It was needed,no one in their right mind would've wanted LJ to be broken like it was in tcg.Wave 1 LJ has already killed AqF, Jewels and Celestial.Who knows what decks it will renders useless in wave 2 if CBD not nerfed.

@@darkfluid5004 lock is more impactful in zero than in paper van thats why I believe the nerf is needed your opponent loses a extra attacker and you gain a extra damage

Okay, so I was already saving packs for Sweep Command Dragon and Daikaiser's eventual reveal since I assumed Galaxy Blau would be way later... Guess I'm just hoarding packs for a whole year then.

CBD's retire on unlock could have been SB1 for each card and there'd have been nothing wrong with it.

Please just tell me this is a sign for daikaiser returning as the secondary supported deck in the first Overdress support-wave for DP. After the botched 2020 support for them this would feel nice, esspecially if the new cover-boy/-girl of justice gets a great introduction as well.
They need to add unranked play options for people who just want to play fun/lower tier decks without competitive pressure.
I'm pretty sure that's why they made the AI Mode. I totally agree, and have been saying that for months now. But you see the goal is to force people into rank to push the meta forcing people to spend more money.
@@KalebDaubMooshra AI is a step in the right direction, but PVP unranked would be amazing. You're totally right, it's all about pushing sales for the Gatcha. At least Bushi is not as bad as other Gatcha games I've played.

I am now more invested in this set... Who needs Ethics Buster Reverse when you have Blaus. Additionally, I think there will be another wave of D-Robo support before they get into the Legion era cards. No points for guessing the focus of those cards.
I never played meta back in season 3 (I joined the game at the end of LB), but wasn't Chaos just a huge problem back then? A nerf just seemed right. The bonus of this being a mobile game is that they could always errata the effect if the nerf really is too strong.

The main issue is that if lj had count charger or required less counted blast to use the effects and no having to put two star Vader in the drop zone, they would be no issues, but they didn’t
@@darkfluid5004 True. 1. It's way too costly especially the counter chargers are not here yet for LJ. 2. Discarding two star vader cards is really not that good since it will lessen the cards in our hand. 3. Even if GS wanna nerf CBD BY changing its skill to discard 2, at least CBD could gain a crit or something that the opponent cannot guard against unless under certain conditions as such in the likes of Glory,Tom or even Nemesis(DI). Then that kind of thing is not that good but at least it can compensate for the nerf that they've done🤔🤔🤔

CB1 discard 2 for lock is an alright nerf for CBD in zero, but to nerf his LB from SB1 to CB1 is too much!
Actually it's balance anyway. In this game, we can't even guard from hand. Plus interceptor act as the Guardian, 3 units vs 1 unit.
As a rule with daikaiser you have to shout DOCKING FORMATION and DAIKAISER.Otherwise you arent believing in justice hard enough.

By estimation: Global will get Set 14 (the one with Daikaiser, CBD, Tetra-drive, etc.) in April.
They ry didn't even need to nerf CBD that much. The Nerf to the starter honestly would've made the regular skill fine...

I think these nerfs are good, Link Joker's inherent ability is to not allow certain clans to play the game. Making it cost a lot to do that is pretty fair, but that's my opinion.

Well it just that it requires more resources to use their effects, unicorn need a counter blast and only lock in back row, chaos need two card to use its effect and instead of soul blast, it’s counter blast and timing of one of the cards change, yes I know it not to cause lj to be broken again but it can been a lot better
Original CBD was SB1 Star Vader to retire and draw, and was discard one star vader instead of two for the lock.
I just hope my bae Glendios doesn't get hit too badly...

The issues is that in zero, when a broken card from the tcg come to zero, they overnerf it due to fear of history repeating
@Dark Fluid they could have certainly done better at nerfing it. I mean we all expect it to be nerfed but not in a way that it’s so overly done. Nerfing Infinite zero, dust tail, and now chaos. That is like 3 counter blast already and to top it all of you have to discard 2 cards for chaos and you don’t really draw all that much. If somehow Link joker has a counter charger maybe it won’t be as heavy.
The cb is fine I guess but discard 2 is too much. And what do you know Nubatama in rank is everywhere literally sniping your board and hand is so damaging to the play style of link joker. It wins off prolonging and getting resources but if you get rushed you won’t have that time to stabilise.
It's also about the fact that locking a front row is also a guard restrict because of the zero rules and because of how intercept works. To attack the vanguard, in the presentation the opponent had to use ddd and dote for 1 vanguard swing. Basically, all other non multi-restanding vanguard decks would have been screwed way too hard. That, on top of the fact that you can swing on the vanguard 3 times because you get rid of interceptors while getting to keep yours.

Man I was only paying attention to zero just in case I would have the chance to play lock just like I did during limit break format, but man those nerfs are heavy.
