As great as this card is, he doesn't scream Daikaiser to me. In his old iterations, I'd imagine him punching through the enemy's shield and just straight suplexing the enemy vanguard with all the crits stored up! This one feels more like he instant transmissions up behind the opponent's vanguard for a sneak attack. Not quite in flavor but DAYUM he still feels strong
The great thing about Daikaiser is that you're STILL able to generate Force gifts for your RG's, since his effect gets you that third Force I on VG so you can put Great Daiyusha's onto RC, as well as any further gifts if you feel like it, or just go for that absolutely massive VG swing. It's genuinely perfect and then some, as are the support cards that came alongside his grand return.

From what I'm hearing, crit sentinels aren't great against Daikaiser because he doesn't check if you hit, only if a sentinel was placed in GC. So you can check a trigger to get past the guard and still activate the damage skill, which isn't a once per turn either.
Daikaiser effect only works on a battle where you play EXACTLY one sentinel.
This is crazy
The issues of using both types of sentinels against Daikaiser
1.)You can perfect guard Daikaiser to block the attack but lose a lot of hand in the process if you try to PG since you will need to use 2 PG's to counter the skill.
2.) You can crit sentinel easily to block the damage effect but risk dying to the sheer power if they check triggers

You don’t need to activate BOTH PGs. Pay for the first one, then place a second Sentinel on the Guardian circle.
@@mystery8820 it still eats your hand though. And also a waste of a PG. Dimension police is a clan well known for pushing very big numbers. losing 3 cards from hand vs 4 cards from hand doesn't seem like much until 2 of the cards you have to discard are both able to block any attack.

The point of Daikaiser V is having a VG with power bonkers enough your opponent would be forced to either slam 2 sentinels or no guard the whole thing.
It's fucking insane and I bloody love it, the manliest of deck that relies on a giant arse vanguard.
G3 turn, going 2nd: ride bladblack, superior ride daikaiser, next turn superior ride great daiyusha on daikaiser, superior call daikaiser from soul to front row rg.
I can only imagine the shenanigans of a possible 3x effect damage.

So just for clarity's sake, when a card says both "crit +1" and "deal a damage", if I meet the conditions for Daikaiser to reach around the sentinel, do I hit my opponent for 1 damage or 2?
No crt dose not count towards effect damage, you only deal 1

Daikaiser is very overpowered with great daiyusha. Saying they work well togther is a understatement and twin order going to expensive because of the marker spaming

Nope has to be either 0 or 2 sentinels, but you can choose not to activate the 2nd one (so only discard for 1 of them)
I'm I misunderstanding daikaiser? If I pg with with one pg and a like a 5k am I safe from the skill, or is it like I need two pgs

Cause legion daikaiser removes the sentinel on the same condition as daikaiser
Just realized you can simply use 1st pg effect to activate pg, then just normal call another pg but not activate the 2nd pg, this already dodge daikaizer skill, but alas if daikaizer hits 50k or higher with 2 crit every turn you will crap yourself lol
