'Heartbeat' is one of their most underrated songs imo.
It is part of the soundtrack for their mobile, BTS World, where you play as a manager at Big Hit and you are tasked in bringing the guys together. The setting is essentially an alternate universe where the guys never met each other the way they did and took up regular jobs; Hobi is a vet, RM is a detective, V lives on a farm, Jungkook is I think a karate fighter and a dancer, Jimin works in a bakery while also taking up dancing, Jin works at a hotel, and Suga is a piano player for events.
The clips of the guys are from the short films that accompany the game. I know Jin's film can be found on Vimeo or RUclips.
They can all be found on RUclips. I've watched Tae's, but I haven't got around to the others yet; but they're all saved to my playlist. If Tae's is anything to go by they are amazing💜🙏🏻👍🏻
The short films are really well done, with each of their stories intersecting in surprising ways. Yoongi's story is especially touching, as is Jin's concierge job and Hobi's as an aspiring vet.

It was such a fun VLive with JK.
During the live he asked for requests for songs that weren't normally/often requested.
He kept getting requests for Heartbeat and didn't understand why ppl. kept writing Heartbeat. He didn't remember the song and was very confused. He finally searched for Heartbeat and realized that they actually have a song called just that and started laughing.
i was on that live, i was also spamming heart beat, i eventually ❤ beat , someone put he should Google heartbeat by BTS.. Poor JK totally forget about this song, he did not know the name of it
Heartbeat and Paradise...poor JK was so confused 🤣, that little sweetheart only knew them by their Korean names! And then Namjoon added to our heartbreak by telling us that another ARMY fave, Louder Than Bombs, might probably never be performed live🥺💜

this live was iconic because ARMYs were requesting Heartbeat and JK was like huh? we have a song ‘Heartbeat’? then when he searched for it and played it he remembered thats why he acted that way and he was hesitating on the parts where the other members sing bec he didnt remember the lyrics. Jk is a freaking songbird!!! I think he sings more than he speaks! It just comes from such a pure place, for the love of it!
BTS world is BTS’s first official game.
Its where us ARMYS act as their manager and attempt to het the boys together and make them who they are today.
There is also an element of the game where you meet the members im an alternative universe.
This MV plays off both concepts and shows what the boys wouldve come if they werent part of BTS.
This MV is just so beautiful in every way possible and it also gives me goosebumps and send shivers down my spine every time i listen to it especially Jiminies high note (where the two planets collide) also this is like a thank you to us ARMYs for always being bu their side and supporting them from the start when they debuted till now

- Are you doing the other OST-songs for the game as well? Because the one by V, J-Hope and swedish Zara Larsson called A Brand New Day is absolutely freakin amazing!
- The short films connected to the game (this mv showed scenes from them) are amazing as well. I highly recommend them.
- The object of the game is to bring the members together vs what would they be if they didn't meet (fictional but with a grain of truth).
- JK's lives always feel so soothing and reaffirming for some reason. Maybe it's because he comes across so genuine; he thoroughly enjoys our company and it shows. I just really really wish I knew Korean so I wouldn't have to wait for the english translations to understand him! 😭 (HUGE SHOUT-OUT to the volunteer ARMY translators! 🙏💜)
- One thing about Heartbeat though: Go listen to it again and try to focus on the background vocals and ad libs...Jin and Jungkook absolutely crushed it on this song!

can you imagine the workload they had in creating the videos and recording the songs for the mobile game while still banging out albums and going on tours? let alone the rap line making mixtapes and the others releasing songs on sound cloud. oh wait I forgot the music shows they were on and countless interviews they did. and the dance practices and I could go on and on. I'm exhausted just typing these things.
Yes. I haven't seen even ARMY'S talk about this enough. I always thought about this. I can't describe how amazing these guys are. I have so much respect. They work so much and also what they do is in amazing quality as well. They are just legendary. Just once in a lifetime act.
I love this song so much. I don't know why it's so under the radar for most people. As for JK being able to sing while he's drunk, just check out his last two lives. ;) (He also had a really cute one in 2019 when he had a little too much wine. It s was the origin of a couple of ARMY classics, like "Night apple is poison apple" and "but it's okay, 'cause I'm JK.")

OMG, watching RM and his acting skills!!! I know Jin is an extraordinary actor but here everyone did their part soo goood. What a beautiful song. Then RM and Suga rapping in a so melodic way. The concept of the game is really sweet. There's two stories being told. The first is, due to some twist of fate, you have to act as their manager and make sure they become the BTS everybody knows. The parallel story shows what might've happened if they never became BTS where they're living (sorta) regular lives. But even despite not becoming famous, they're still fated to meet and become friends. The situations they somehow get themselves into are just as ridiculous as you'd expect from them but in a more mundane setting (besides that one body swap plotline 😂).
The videos u didn’t recognize have been specifically filmed for the game, they worked on this for about 4 years and filmed a huge amount of stuff that can be seen in the game, n a few of them in this MV too✨

Btw- speaking of JKs vlives he did a song recently called airbag. No one is really talking about it but it was beautiful. And you can find his version from his live on RUclips. Someone did think to put it out there. So good. Just to listen to or whatever. 😁

Does clips came from the game itself. Each level and each member has different stories to portray. And you the player is their manager and you have to help them get together and get the same success just like where they are today. It’s like recreating what BTS and their managers went through hustling to do music choreography and finding shows to perform. What you are seeing in the music video are their alternate characters. V being farmer, Jin being a hotelier, jk being a Highschool student that excel in taekwondo, jimin helping his grandmothers business flourish, Jhope was trying to become a vet, Suga was a genius musician but was having a bad case of stage fright, and rm is a genius in computers and was helping the police find a serial killer. You as a manager tries to help them and encourage them find their real dream in life and getting them together as a group BTS. It’s a very interactive game and very fun to play.💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
This was never left in my playlist. They have many of hidden gems like this that only few armys know (if we're gonna total all the armys around the world)

I still find it hilarious that JK totally forgot about this song. I was there for this VLive - he started laughing so hard after realizing what we were all asking for. 😂Someone had to suggest he Google 'Heartbeat by BTS' for him to realize which song we were requesting. That's why he looked a little confused and was laughing at the start of his clip!
Ok. This is one of my many favorite songs. To me, I think the video is about what their lives would’ve been like if they’ve never met and became who they are now. RM was an underground rapper, if he had stayed as one he probably would have gotten in trouble with the law. Suga’s parents were against him for pursuing rap. He’s been playing the piano since he was a kid, and you can see how unhappy he is. J-Hope loves his dog, so he’s a vet and sitting on the steps looking sad and lost. Jin was still taking classes in college. In some Asian countries, kids and teens are expected to study for hours everyday. I’m Asian too, so I know what it’s like, and it’s not fun. I get frustrated and sometimes I just want scream to let it all out like Jin did at the beach. JK was a young teen studying and being out on the street hanging out with friends. Jimin is a baker because he likes to bake cakes and other things, but then started to pursue his dream of being something better through dancing. V’s parents are farmers, and he would have become one too, but he’s searching for something. I noticed they were all looking up thinking that something was missing. Later, they show them practicing together as a group, as trainees, then being on stage performing in front of thousands of people. Music is their passion! ARMY- help me out! I’m a baby ARMY, so this is what I think the video is about. 😊 It’s just my thoughts and opinion, so don’t get angry if I’m wrong. Please don’t hate me 😋

The scenes aren't from other MVs ..they are from the OST where there are alternate universes ...the scene of Suga and RM where they bump into each other is because they are not in this universe so they don't know each other...
This game revolved around the concept of "what if BTS didn't meet the way they did" and in that alternate universe each member is doing their own thing for e.g. Tae was supposed to be a farmer.
In the game the player had to act as their manager and interact with them personally to get them all together at the end.
So there is storyline for each member and as you unlock the levels the story keeps unfolding.
Heartbeat mv is actually not a compilation of videos , they really shoot that mv just for heartbeat 💜 and its just a OST for BTS world but Heartbeat is so beautiful 💜💜💜💜
The fact this song is on the short list of no lives is so sad. But yes JK doing his live concerts I swear he never logs in for less than 2 hours (unlike Taehyung the king of 2 min lives).

Jin's voice is heavenly.
Most of the scenes were for this OST. It's an alternate universe where they're not BTS, just individuals in different career paths. Then ending is them finding each other through fate and becoming BTS anyway. Destiny.

I have always had trouble falling a sleep at night/clearing my brain. Have a BTS Sleep playlist that has worked everynight for 3 years. Everyone should consider, puts you in such a happy, comfortable, safe place to sleep.
The clips were created for the MV as it is based on the characters in the game. You won’t find them anywhere else but connected to this.

I love this song, it is in my top 5 of their ballad songs, maybe all of their songs. And it is crazy that they made such a beautiful song for a mobile game. I haven't listened to the full soundtrack for it, yet. But another song on it is DreamGlow, faster song, and it is really good and a bop! Charli XCX sings with JK, JM, and JIN.

The music video is not a compilation of other videos. It kind of tells the story of the BTS world game. The scenes you saw were the BTS members in an alternate world where they had never met and become BTS. V became a farmer, Jimin was a baker, Jungkook was a marshal arts athlete, Hobi was a veterinarian, RM was a police detective, Jin was a hotel concierge and Suga played piano for weddings. But in the middle of the video that World collided with our world and the BTS members found their rightful places together on the stage and in the practice room. The whole thing was telling a story. That’s why there were 2 oceans, 2 trees, 2 city skylines. 2 worlds. One where they were BTS, and one where they were just normal people and never met each other except when RM accidentally knocked down Suga on the street and helped him get up. How sad would that be if it were actually true.
The BTS World game plays very strongly on the idea of fated meetings... In the game, you play a modern-day ARMY on the way to a BTS concert, when something strange happens-- the figures of the Tannies slowly get erased from your ticket, and as you're contemplating what it means, you get yeeted back in time to before their debut. It's your job to get the boys together and guide them into becoming Bangtan, and reaching their current success.
In addition to the main storyline, there are three alternate storylines-- alternate *worlds*-- when the boys choose other life paths than Bangtan. In the first, RM is an aspiring author (and subsequently a P.I.), Jin is a hotellier-in-training, Suga is a classical piano student with severe performance anxiety, Hobi is a vet student, Jimin is torn between pursuing dancing and taking over his ailing grandmother's rice cake business, V is a farmer, and JK is a student thinking of getting back into taekwondo after a bad injury. You, the player, befriend each of them and work to help them achieve their dreams. In the second storyline, they've all succeeded at their chosen professions, and start crossing paths with one another and making friends (the idea being that, even if they WEREN'T BTS, fate would draw them and ARMY (you) together.) The third alternate storyline involves the Magic Shop, where each of them wish for their heart's desire, only to have their wishes come true in... unexpected ways.
I really enjoyed the game, personally-- I thought it was for the most part well-written and the supporting characters were just amazing. (In particular, there's a bossy little girl that Jin interacts with in his storyline who's just PRICELESS.)

Second time coming across this song, I listened to it n following the lyric this time n it's worth it. These boys were chosen from all different walks of life while in their young age. To my attention, they were meant to be. They comfort us with their voices with lyrics n songs that you sit back n absorbed it one by one. I admired n respected these talents. Bravo Boys.

Heartbeat is literally one of my fave BTS songs ever. It's one of their songs I most have on rotation on my playlists. Idk why but when I listen to it always feels like a warm hug, it's comforting and always puts me in a good mood

The heartbeat mv has no reused footage except concert images. All of that was shot for the video. The parts where they we living a life never being bts and the parts that showed them getting together because of the merging of the universes. Only reused footage was pieces of their love yourself tour and I can't tell if it was from the documentary or just one of the love yourself dvds.

That was the original MV of that song, in case noone has mentioned it. They were acting as their alter egos in the game. Quite a good game I must say, but requires LOADS of data and my phone just cannot handle it no more 😢.
No alter egos, its about being their manager and you find them for their debut and a parallel universe where there is no group, they live their own lives, do their favorite things

Let me recommend another splendid ost work, “your eyes tell” by BST, which was created by JK for a Japanese movie. The song features their unbelievable beautiful high tone singing with very moving lyrics… illustrating a boy falling love with a blind girl, but finding out later how she had lost her eyesight years before in which he had been involved unbeknownst to himself as well as to herself. You’re a metal vocalist, and as seen in your comments, BTS’s outstanding high tone singing is attracting you so much. Your Eyes Tell would definitely leave you speechless, stunned and so deeply mesmerized.

My personal opinion of that song and video is their story as a band and with ARMY. The video starts and ends with the same with ARMY. In between you notice they are all apart doing different things, basically living in a world they WOULD have had they not been in BTS.. Then fate intervenes the two worlds colliding/Big hit and that brings the guys together. You then see them in dance practice etc and back to ARMY. i think this song is amazing and yes V has an amazing vulnerable sound to his voice.
