Indeed its a part of skiing that feels weird for me to talk about just me. But having chelsea do it is the real deal as she remeber the fear.

Her front flips are so clean too as if she had been doing them for years. I'll learn them some day 😂 I wanna learn backflips first

Agree. Into the powder they looked they way I´d expect, rugged and sketchy. But within just a couple of tried it looked like she had been doing it for a long time. Very impressive.

Are front flips safer than back flips? I keep hearing people getting injured doing back flips.

I can only say that for me, I decided to do a front flip first because it felt "safer" than a backflip for one very specific reason. If you underrotate a front flip you land flat on your back, like I do in the first shot during this video. If you underroatate a backflip, you dig your ski tips into the ground and eject out of them with your head going down the landing, like a torpedo. I've seen people get quite badly injured doing that. Landing flat on your back doesn't feel great, but it's a lot better than potentially getting a concussion, or worse. If you do either trick properly, I think they're equally safe. But when you're beginning to learn them and the chance of underrotating is high, then front flip is my safer choice. Hope that helps.

Very inspiring! 😍 I hope to get mine soon! Do you think this is easier than the version where you kick one ski back on the takeoff? I would love to see someone get their first backflip! 🔥🔥👏👏

I personally think the one foot take off feel better and you can flip faster of smaller jumps. But its more complicated more movements that can go wrong during the first attempts.
