Ah love watching you guys 🥰 another fab vlog ❤ however CP wins I’m sorry. We did think of going a Forest holiday but it’s not for me I love the wildlife especially the deer 🦌 ❤ and a lot more activities. I love CP because you leave your car at the gate and that’s it no need to venture off. Both pottery paintings were fab difficult one 🤔 so both are winners 😍 sorry 🤣 can’t wait for CP and your Fjords cruise 🚢 keep vlogging ❤
Really enjoyed this especially the moment where Dave was cuddling and kissed Harper. Harper is so lucky to have you two. I’am going to Centre Parcs Elveden on Monday for a week I can’t wait ❤️
Definitely an interesting watch. Myself, partner and children are massive Center Parcs fans we go every year without a doubt. Really enjoyed this one guys keep them coming. X
Fantastic vlog, as always. Loved it to see an alternative option for a quiet relaxing break. Hot tub was a bonus and beautiful scenery. Thanks for sharing guys xx
Yes I probably would agree, we didn't see any children I don't think, so that might be a sign of it's appeal and suitability. They do offer some kids activities and had a small play park for little ones, but the options at CP are definitely more
Ahhhh we do regularly look at Longford and try to plan how we would do it. I'm sure we will one day, but it's not an easy journey for us from south west England, and with Harper it's even more tricky 🤣🤣🙈🙈
We spent a weekend at Sherwood Pines a few years ago when attending an outdoor concert. The lodge was lovely, the huge windows were a definite plus and gave a real forest feel. There definitely seems to be more available on site than when we went but the beauty of CP is you can forget about the car for a few days, something which may not always be possible at Forest Holidays. I remember the shop being expensive but did the actual holiday seem expensive too? I'm sure we have done 4 nights at CP for cheaper. That Banoffee Spread is amazing ❤
I think the prices vary for either place quite a bit, sometimes CP is cheaper but other times it's been the opposite! I agree re: the car, but I guess it's a different concept.
This is really helpful to see what a similar CP trip looks like (without paying for it!),without being too biased, I still would go to center parcs. We are actually going to Longleat in 2 weeks for a mon-fri. We have actually made our own spicy loaded fries (we feel Daves's pain) when we have gone to other holiday places that don't have them on the menu😢 It's very hard to beat a CP but we are also trying Villages Nature in Paris next year and would love to see you guys try a euro CP and give your opinion! (If you'd like our spicy loaded fries recipe I'm happy to share😊)
Ahhh thanks, hope it helped you with your decision making? Obviously we are both big Center Parcs girls too, and we still had a lovely time and enjoyed FH for something different.
@@RobCadenElkins it helped a lot actually thank you! After watching your vlog, although I think it looks great for me and my partner I don’t think there would be enough to entertain the kids. 😭
@@RobCadenElkins that’s it. And we do enjoy the variety of restaurants at CP. We’ve just been watching the break you did over Christmas and it’s inspired us to book it for the first time ever this year! We always do winter wonderland in November but this year we’re going to do actual Christmas now after you said how magical it is. We can’t wait!!!🎉🌲
Great vlog, as always. Looked many times at booking Forest holidays so really helpful to have the view of people who are used to CP. As a family of 4 I don’t think the addition of the hot tub outweighs the lack of other facilities for us, plus school holidays it is usually more expensive for us than an executive lodge (no hot tub). Forest looked lovely thought. Great minds think alike as I have been looking at Norwegian cruise so looking forward to the vlogs and your opinions on it. Have a fab time if you haven’t already been ❤❤
As a family I can understand that, we definitely can see the appeal of Forest Holidays more for a couples getaway retreat and more relaxing times. Sorry we won't be able to share any Iona / fjords cruise hints or tips after all, but I can confirm ALL the Norwegian chocolate that our friends got for us are delicious 😋🤣🤣
Loved this vlog. Have been toforest holidays in Norfolk. We are off to CP next weeks at woburn. So looking forward to that. Agree with you that food is limited and overpriced at forest holidays
Yes, CP is extortionate, but when you compare it to the offerings of FH, I know which one I'd go for every time. It all looks really lovely but the lodge doesn't look particularly cosy, and there's something about leaving your car away from your lodge. And that pizza 🤣
I know that in their Golden Oak lodges you have a fireplace/ log burner included which I think would help with the cozy vibes, but yes I understand what you're saying. We do like to drop our car off at the car park and not think about it too, I can't understand why some people try to leave theirs outside their lodges 🤷🤔
Have been to FH a few times but when there can't help thinking CP is so much better in so many ways. Also FH is really expensive by comparison these days.
We do love Center Parcs, in case that wasn't obvious 🤣🤣🤣 and obviously we did compare our first experience at Forest Holidays to CP, but I actually think they are both nice but different. I wouldn't expect a break to FH to be as exciting, but it might be as / more relaxing?
I had US summer camp flashbacks. The key chain to the cabin lost me. However, it looks nice for those who want a quiet getaway. Yeah, I’m a Centre Parcs girl.
Thanks! For the Forest Holidays internet I'm sure there was a sign-in portal to access the internet, which was fine on my phone and iPad. So yes, similar (I think?)
Let's be honest, forest holidays is trying to be centre parcs. But it does look nice, especially if you're looking for something quieter. The snail and dog pottery were equally good 😉🐌
Haahah a very diplomatic answer about the pottery, but I know what you really think 🐶😜🤣 I dunno, I can see some similarities but the more I think about it I think they are quite different and maybe will appeal to different people 🤷

The views were 🤩🤩🤩 I don't know if we were just very lucky with our particular view, but no complaints from us about it!
Thanks for the information. I’m thinking it’s not enough to do for a family but definitely a couple break. X ❤

New idea, you guys should go to Ireland to Longford Forest centre parcs and rate it! It'll be so good as I'm irish and love your reviews in england

Your quiz name could be Loaded Fries !😊
We're going to the one in Strathyre in June, if it's as peaceful as this one we're gunna love it👍
Hope you have an amazing time!
Loved this video! What do you guys do for work? Xx
Ahhhh thanks, glad you enjoyed it 😊 I work for a children's rights charity, and Dave does a number of things but his main job is cabin crew ✈️
