Thank you so much for your highly interesting notes about two versions of this delightful tune "Ständchen". My favourite is the delicate vocal version by Die sechs frohen Sänger, but no doubt Wolff's interpretation is great as well. I am pretty sure Heykens' would have been very happy with these renditions of his cheerful , signature composition :-) I wonder though if any of these two test pressions was actually issued?
