This music was used for about 3 years? as NHK radio program to announce the name of Japanese people who arrived at Maizuru (north and almost center of Japan) from abroad just after World War II. They were repatriates , soldiers, and injured soldiers. I lost my father in the US air raid, and my family waited and waited our uncle from Siberia and finally he was able to return long years later but as only hair. The music used to be sad melody in my childhood. But now that I forget the unhappy past, I'm enjoying it playing as one of guitar ensemble musics.

ブルートレインの機関車で一番印象的な機関車はEF66ですが、EF65-500番台も格好いいですよね。

旅がつまらんくなった。
まだ鉄も大人しく穏やかでマナーも良かったので、駅員さんや車掌さんから使用済み切符や不要な備品貰えたりしたな…。
クロスシートで隣りになった人との出会い。
とにかく人情と良心に溢れていた。
乗り遅れそうな人を待ったり、発車しててもわざわざ止まってくれたり。
