- Today I will show you almost full Descend, Approach and Landing in Vnukovo airport, Moscow, Russia on our Bombardier, Learjet 60XR
I love to fly manually as manual flying skills is what we lack today in the industry.
The weather is not perfect, but it's November after all and winter is coming. However few days ago I was on Paphos and it was +27C there.

That landing was smooth, I had to wait for the spoilers extended to notice the plane had touched the runway. Excellent video.
Thank you very much :) I hope that passengers liked it as well :)
@@TheFlyingLife they sure did like it.
which video game is that?
По-русски тоже интересно послушать :)
Да да, совершенно по другому обстановка ощущается :) мы вести связь на русском не можем, так как коллеги мои не говорят ...
High quality video displaying a different type of operation (using metric system), everything is so clear and well edited.
Great content for me as a student pilot, please keep these great videos coming.
One final word to the great CRM between the crew, everything is flowing so smoothly in the cockpit !
Greetings from Portugal.
For non-experts, all TBT communications could be understood as disturbing, but the sequence of communications is perfect and is sound to our ears. Excellent video
Thank you very much! Appreciate this!
Nice manual approach and another very impressive touch down :) When you got one of the instructions to decent to FL180 and FL150 I guess that was feet? When do you switch over to meters? I have never flown in that area and I thought that all altitudes were in meters in Russia.
@i captnoatp Thank you very much as usual!
Well, it's been already couple of years since Russia changed cruising levels to feet with standard RVSM separation criteria. However, they left Meters lower than TL. Also, as you noticed we were instructed to descend according to QFE setting lower than TL, but we continued according to QNH, as all the data in FMS is based on QNH. Usually they broadcast QFE and QNH in ATIS.
In addition to that I may add that some airports, St. Petersburg as example, have already switched to QNH only. But in any case there was not a big of a difference as elevation is about 1hPa.
Thanks a lot for the answer. I didn’t know that they are using TL in Russia. You learn something every day:) Thanks again and have a great day👍
I wanna be a pilot... Wish me luck!
Good luck Genry! very nice decision that leads to interesting and demanding future!
